Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is nep based and it includes aspects of real world there are one semester end exam and one midsem and 4 CA tests for each sem all are of moderate difficulty you can pass all with some adequate study

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for cse here is 1.9 lakh and it is including all the miscellaneous fee the hostel fee is extra if you want the fee is same for everyone in cse and college doesn't have any fee concession for any caste category or reservation college also doesn't provide any scholarship but you can get any third party scholarship by yourself

Campus Life

4

There is a annual fest razmatazz it is held during january and February month and there are various small events that happen and also there are the university events aswell this year mgmu held the event for all universities across India it was a 8 day long event and there are garba nightw and such events aswell the jnec library is very big and very well stocked one of the largest in the city mgm university also has the biggest auditorium in the city and jnec classrooms are equipped with projectors and camera and whiteboards there is a tech Mahindra lab aswell sports is a very well equipped department they have a huge ground and good facilities there are student run clubs such as e-cell jnec and other technical clubs they have a positive impact on student life

Admission

I was allotted zeal college of engineering pune thru mht cet cap round and I chose jnec over it as i found jnec to have a few extras over zeal and also jnec is closer to my home town I was not rejected from any college and in jnec you get admission thru their own allotment process they take jee mht cet and mgmu cet results for admission any one of them is okay to you can get in with a mht cet score of 70 percentile or above but it differs every year

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is ok 1:66 and most of them are good in teaching and also clear your doubts anytime you ask exams are of moderate difficulty but you can pass by studying a few days curriculum is nep and regularly updated so it is relevant somewhat

Night Life

4

The university campus has two gyms for students one is free and one is paid although affordable college has a cafeteria of good quality hostel students are allowed outh till 9 but some stay till 10 aswell if you know the guard the campus is very close to cannought place (csn) you can find vey good cafe restaurants and food spots there the city has several monuments and tourist spots such as Bibi ka maqbara or panchcakki, etc and the college locality is safe enough to roam around but it isnt advisable considering the current events that have unfolded in the city Overall aurangabad is called a night city of you know the spots and places

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.
