ATLAS SkillTech University is a state private university located in the heart of Mumbai. The university offers various UG and PG courses in Design, Management and Data Science. The most popular courses of the university include a 2-year MBA with 5 specializations, a 3-year BBA with 4 specializations and a 4-year B.Des course with 8 specializations. Apart from that, the University offers B.Tech in CS, AI and ML. Admission to the university is based on the candidate’s performance in the last qualifying examination and an aptitude test followed by Collaborative Assessment and Personal Interview. World Class Faculty, highly educated from well known institution like IIT, BITS Pilani, etc.
Infrastructure - Walking into campus feels like i’ve stepped into being a character in the movie Student of the Year
Student Clubs - A great opportunity to showcase your talent as well as socialise with other like minded individuals

Constant change of few faculties, it hammered the learning process
Not all student clubs being very welcoming

Student view on course curriculum

The exams are manageable as long as you dedicate time to studying the material covered in class. The curriculum stands out as a modern and practical alternative to traditional education systems. It's emphasis on real world applications ensures that students not only gain theoretical knowledge but also develop essential skills that are directly applicable to building a successful career.

Internship opportunity provided by the college and stipend

There was an internship offered by Wipro in the field of Artificial Intelligence with a stipend of Rs. 15,000. It included a course teaching the basics of AI to the students, mini projects on the topics taught for practical approach and then an internship at the end of the course.

Top company recruiting from the campus

Atlas offers internships and job opportunities from various brands that are well known in the field, We've had recruiters from Zomato, Manish Malhotra, etc. Apart from that even guest speakers who come for lectures often take a look at student projects and offer internships to those they are impressed with. The professors sometimes also use their own contacts and give internship opportunities to students. It's a campus within b corporates, job opportunities are all around!

Yearly fees structure of the college

Course Fee : Rs. 450,000 per year. Entrance Exam Fee : Rs. 3000 Enrolment Fee : Rs. 75,000 Not Included : Hostel Fees & any other extracurricular expenses which are optional such as fees for events, day trips, etc.

College fest and various activities

Walking into college on the first day felt like I'd become a part of the movie Student of the Year. The infrastructure is absolutely world class. There's something for everyone ranging from a library to a stage to a turf they encourage individuality and all kinds of talent. There are computer labs, labs for 3D printing, computers with AI detectors in the library for research writing. There are various student clubs, I think at Atlas there's something for everyone. There's STAGE - The Cultural Club which mainly organises Illenium - The Intercollegiate Fest of Atlas, There's Finterest - For Finance & Entrepreneurship, The Student Council, Agile - The Sports Club and many more! Life on campus is very exciting and fun once you've found your place

Student views on the faculty and exams

All the faculties are very well educated with Phds from well known institutions such as IIT, BITS Pilani, University of Cambridge, etc. All of them have a real world approach to teaching and their experience makes it even better. The are all very helpful with everything regarding their field whether it's related to the curriculum or a project you are working on by yourself. There are two main exams, namely the Mid Term and the End Term, apart from that there are CIAs conducted, practical's, projects, etc. The exams are not very difficult if you study well the matter taught in class. Until now, all the students have cleared all exams. The course curriculum is more relevant and better than the traditional one as it has a real world approach and teaches you important skills required for a successful career

Admission process of the college

One of my main reasons for choosing Atlas was that it was located in Mumbai. I was not keen on moving out for college however I did secure admission through entrance exams in colleges such as Manipal Institute of Technology, Vellore Institute of Technology, NMIMS, etc. However Atlas did not require me to move out and it was providing the same quality of education as compared to the other universities I got into

Night Life

The locality is safe even at night. All practices for fests etc happen on campus and students are allowed to stay on campus latest till 10:30 pm. However, it is safe to travel as the railway station is on walking distance and autos and cabs are also available. There are no major eateries or cafés, just small stalls that sell good affordable food. You can order from food delivery apps or the canteen food is also recommended.

i applied to universal ai university but the college had less classroom and the college was small but the campus was big. got in nmims too but i had another test on the same date so couldn't go too its one on one so didn't get selected in it

the college does not provide with Adobe programs subscription ans hence you need to biy it on your own
the location of the college is not very nice the area does not feel safe

Admission:

like I said, in my previous answer, I chose this college over other colleges because it follows a modern curriculum which keeps getting updated as we advance in technology, whereas the other colleges follow their traditional curriculum. Other than that this college is situated in the heart of Bombay and Bombay was always the city I wanted to go to for my studies.

Life at Atlas skilltech university ( ISDI)

Admission:

My first preference was NID, I also applied to pearl, Avantika MIT, ISDI Atlas skilltech university. Other than NID I cleared the interviews and enterance exams of the other colleges mentioned above. Since ISDI Atlas is the closest and had very friendly and helpful staff and faculty, even the campus was great and the college was well maintained. I could see myself studying in this college. To make it to isdi Atlas there is an enterance exams online + a portfolio submission/ challange exam+ portfolio review interview. If you clear just the interview you can make it to this college.

Sometimes the events get over the top making it a slightly boring guest sessions as they are kept to often

Admission:

The minimum criteria for admission is 50% or above and you have to appear either for any MBA entrance with non-zero score and PI and gdp after that you can get admission. You have to give an aptitude test before that which would be considered in a score of gdp and pi.There is need to elminate aptitude test for studens who have given entrance test

Admission:

There are three rounds in the admission process. Firstly, the students need to appear for the online entrance exam. Secondly, online interviews and if the candidate passes through both they need to appear at the campus for a group discussion round. The admission process throughout is a fun journey. The entrance exams are based more on general knowledge and understanding of business instead of bookish knowledge.

The Atlas experience

Likes

Their different approach to education and understanding business is unique and compelling
The college campus was spacious modern and had a nice environment, the staff is very helpful and the amenities available are good.

Dislikes

The traffic outside the college in kurla makes its difficult to reach on time
The amount of students being admitted in the college should be reduced

Admission:

The admission process was a very smooth process and it included interviews as wells some entrance exams and on campus activities testing our leadership and teamwork skills. There were no aspects of the admission process I didn't like.

The infrastructure is very nice, they have managed to build a nice atmosphere even in a cramped place like mumbai. It feels like a design college

Admission:

The eligibility of the course is 12th pass with 50 percent in any stream.The admission process went by with filling out the application form, giving the test and then going for the interview round. The application form had various aspects to it including a 300 word SOP and submission of a portfolio. There was a detailed review given out and then an interview was taken online.

ATLAS Skilltech University - ISDI

Likes

The campus is greatly comfortable and accommodating, with students being allowed to use the elevators as well as three different staircases.

Dislikes

Security is very high and if you so much as forget your ID card you will not be allowed to enter the premises.
The campus is only one building, with no large area to roam around or spend free time.
While each class has an average amount of students, the overall number of students in every year is very high, leading to fierce competition.

Admission:

The admission process was very clear and thorough. You can apply online, and take an entrance test at your own discretion. There are multiple rounds of admissions. The test is not that difficult and can be finished within 30 mins - 1 hour. It includes a general knowledge section, a design knowledge section, and a creative writing section.

A glimpse of my life at ATLAS Skilltech University, Mumbai !

Likes

Firstly, the infrastructure is great. It feels spend-worthy to study at an environment designed in such a manner like ATLAS.

Dislikes

Not a great issue for those who stay nearby, but some students travelling distances might face issues due to its location being BKC, or Kurla.

For the admission, you need to go through 3 rounds of questioning post filling of the admission form: Online Aptitude test (Camera monitored) Personal Interview( With any of the faculties) Group discussion (You are placed in a group of 7-8 other students seeking admission, where you are given a case with certain question and judged based on your rate of interaction with the group and the quality of solution you provide.) A day or two after this, you get a mail from ATLAS stating your status of admission, whether you're selected or not.

You can apply from the respective portal for the national level entrance exam. The applications for the MBA program are open and the last date to apply is November 28, 2024. The Group Discussion and the Personal Interview will be held on November 30, 2024.

Yes, you can apply for admission to Atlas Skill Tech University BBA without having Mathematics in your 10+2 class. The eligibility criteria of BBA is to complete 10+2 from a recognised board only.
