Review for Atlas Skilltech University and its Dorm

Likes

Good Campus with cafeterias and canteens and coffee shops like third wave.
The college is right infront of the Hostel so you don’t have to travel a lot
The college is inside a business park so you get to see people from different corporations going in and out

Dislikes

the location of the college is not very nice the area does not feel safe
the college does not provide with Adobe programs subscription ans hence you need to biy it on your own
the college does not help you with internships and even if they do the internships provided by them are very mediocre.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is actually really good and up to date. One of the main reasons why I chose this college over Nift and NID is because they keep updating their curriculum with time whereas other colleges follow the traditional curriculum every year. Maybe some people would prefer that but I prefer a ca curriculum that keeps getting updated as we are advancing in technology. Hence our college have included a lot of AI related courses as well.

Life at Atlas skilltech university ( ISDI)

Likes

The entire campus is air conditioned and has fire alarms
Most of the professors come well prepared and ensure work is done in class
College has all sorts of equipments and tools available for all kinds of materials

Dislikes

No proper medical facilities. Or ambulance available
Staff is not aware of any medical emergency services or how to handle medical situations
No proper doctors for students. Or emergency services

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the very first year, college provides multiple opportunities for placement, throughout every semester companies visit and hire students.during my fy for us there were around 100 placements made. Some were paid some were just observerships. i currently have no specific plans

The infrastructure is very nice, they have managed to build a nice atmosphere even in a cramped place like mumbai. It feels like a design college
The faculty is the best thing i could ever get in the college. They are so approachable and every faculty is so good at what they trach, it is truly nice to learn from such good faculty
Our college provides internships in the first year itself whicha lot of colleges dont do at all. They get comoanies to the college and do much of the hand holding in the first year. Having an internship in the first year itself makes the students gai

Dislikes

We arent allowed to eat in classroo.s and there is only one canteen on the whole campus and when everyboday has their break together, it becomes very difficult to even find a place to sit sometimes even though there are
other places to sut outside, the weather is not always very nice to sit putside and it is not even very convenient

Placement Experience:

The placements are great. We are located in a corporate area which makes companies very accessible to the students of our college. We have companies like gucci, google, mondelez, dr. reddys and many more such companies coming to our college not just for placements but also for internships.

Likes

The campus is greatly comfortable and accommodating, with students being allowed to use the elevators as well as three different staircases.
The faculty are highly experienced and clearly an expert in their field, providing perfect guidance and individual mentorship and feedback.
Many companies, both large established brands and smaller start-ups, were invited to campus for interviews.

Dislikes

The campus is only one building, with no large area to roam around or spend free time.
While each class has an average amount of students, the overall number of students in every year is very high, leading to fierce competition.
Security is very high and if you so much as forget your ID card you will not be allowed to enter the premises.

Placement Experience:

Students are required to undergo observerships and apprenticeships from the first year itself. Many companies arrive on campus every summer to conduct these hires, such as Deloitte, Landor, Tata, Kohler, Havells, Adobe, Google, etc. The recorded overall placement success rate was 92%. The highest recorded international package stood at 1.2 CR per annum, offered by Google. The average package was recorded at 11 LPA. Students are required to undergo a capstone project in their final year.
