Course Curriculum Overview

4

The subjects like Digital Signal Processing, Microcontrollers, Cellular Networks, Electromagnetic Engineering greatly influced me to choose this course. This curriculum provides a solid foundation for real life applications particularly in areas like embedded systems, VLSI technologies and many more. The frequency and timing of the exams is reasonable. Students get enough time to prepare for their midterms, practical oral exams and the final exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

Not much companies offer interships to the students in our campus. Placements are offered on a large scale in the campus. Students have to look for internships on their own like off campus. In K.K. Wagh, students have to do a six month internship in the 8th semester.

Placement Experience

3

In the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. In E&TC department, students were offered upto 12,00,000 per annum from Bosch and the average packages ranges from 3,00,000 to 4,00,000. The placements happen around July/August every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fee i pay is 1,38,000 rupees. I also pay 225 rupees for insurance in case something happens to me while I'm in college and i pay for my semester-wise exam fees which ranges from 1300-1800.

Campus Life

4

The campus offers a vibrant social life with annuals festivals like MAFFICK which is held in the month of January and Telekinesis in the same month. Workshops and hackathons during these events are very engaging. The library is well stocked with a range of books, journals and magazines, digital resources. The classroom are equipped with projecters, smart boards, speakers and a reliable wifi, makinh learning interactive and modern.

Admission

I only got a confirmed admission from K. K. Wagh College in all of my rounds also i didnt apply for much other colleges. K. K. Wagh mainly accepts CET scores and even JEE scores. The admission process is quick.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student relationship is quite good. The environment is very friendly and free. Uptill now i have liked Prof. Nirmalakumari Kaithi, Prof. Sanjivani Bhabad, Prof. Payal Jadhav and many more. There are two exams per semester. One is the midsems and the other one is the final endsem exam. They're bit tough not too much, if you're prepared well you can clearly clear them. The course is very relevant and helpul.

Night Life

4

The gym, cafeterias almost closes at 9pm. The library closes at 7pm. The curfew time for hostels is 8pm for everyone, which limits the late night activites for the students. To hangout there are so many good places. Outside the college they have McDonalds, Pizaa Hut, Domino's and many more such places.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes the curriculum is 50-50 where it is relevant as some point and it slightly turns irrelevant at some point but which is fine Some subjects like DSA and FDS are important and the fundamentals of computer stream But the m3 subject is just not needs according to me which makes it tough to understand so many subjects at some point We have 5 subjects per semester The curriculum helps to improve us in many ways where they teach us the relevant languages and makes us industry ready The improvement should be in the AI sector as it is the ongoing trend which might help everyone to improve their self The frequency of exams is ok if considered As the insem is around a month after the semester starts and the endsem is around 2 or 2.5 months after the insem That depends

Placement Experience:

The college has good placement offers and internships which helps students to get placed in good companies but sometimes they get less placement, the placement fro civil department has more numbers than any other department as the college owner is a builder , the college has higher placement jobs in it sector and technical sector too , the other non technical sector for placement are sales and marketing jobs which also offered in this college by the traning and placement team , the college has a department of training and placement.
