I am Kartikay Agrawal a fourth year student at IIT Bombay and I got admission through JEE and my rank was 2625 in advance. The fee structure is around 250000 per year including hostel and mess and tuition and hospital fees. There are many Solaris available through banks and government that help people. Also is you're from reservation sections your fees is very low around 14000 excluding mess fees that's same for everyone around 23000. Per semester.

Also, scholarships are provided on merit cum income-based criteria. Scholarships are also provided for purchasing laptops and financing hostel and mess charges.

The total fees for non SC-ST students is 300000. There are ? fee waiver for students from family having total family income lesser than 500000. Also there is a scholarship program (FAP) founded by the alumns. This program is merit based.

The Tution fee for one semester is 100000 and mess fee is 22500 for one semester and hostel fees is 16900 so totals upto 278000 per year. There are many scolarships available, for SC/ST there is no tution fees and no mess fee, and 1/3rd fees for annual income from 100000-500000 and also merit cum means scolariships.

First Semester academic fees is ? 1,23,350 (in which 1 Lakh is tution fees) and second semester academic fees is ? 1,07,350 . So, first year fees is ? 2,30,700 . SC/ST students get 100% fee waiver on Tution Fees. General/EWS/OBC-NCL students whose family annual income is less than 1 Lakh get 100% tution fee waiver & whose annual family income is between 1-5 Lakh get 2/3rd waiver on tution fees. Hostel fees is ? 16,900 per semester and mess fees is ? 22,500 per semester. Many scholarships are available for needy students. Merit-cum-means scholarship is given to 25% of total students. Many other named & government scholarships are also available. Education Loan for needy is easily available on lower interest rates.

Yearly fees for MSc statistics course in IITB is around 1,25000 including hostel and mace charges. Semester hostel and mace charges are around 33000 and rest is tution fees. Institute also provides various scholarship like Merit cum means(MCM) scholarship which is provided to top 25% students of class with income less than 5 lakhs. There is no tution fees for SC/ST students.

Our yearly academic fee is 83000. Our hostel fee is 88000 yearly including mess and we get a scholarship of 12400 monthly. There are 18 hostels overall. And the campus size is 545 acres located in Powai.
