- Far from home and whether is very humid and Harsh.
- Since Mumbai is a very expensive place so it is bad for students.
- Hostel closing time is 10:00 p.m. which I personally don't like.
Course Curriculum Overview
We get surprise class test ,quizzes and scheduled internal examination throughout the year. Aur karikulam is based on new education policy in which we are being prepared for industry. College can improve in field of lab equipments and infrastructure of hostels
Internships Opportunities
Our internship scenario is also very good. I personally date internship in DRDO. Officially from 5th semester internship starts but if you are good enough you can do vocational training in many repeated companies.
Placement Experience
Our college placement is till now the best in India where computer science branch is having a average package of 30 lacs and core branches get 19lpa. Companies like Google Microsoft Accenture Oracle visit our campus. Almost average student gets place here
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees around 2 lakh 50000 which includes hostel fee which is around 50000 yearly. For SC and ST candidates institution fees very less. I am from EWS category so some amount of my institution fee is refunded. I am also getting Pradhanmantri Shiksha Nidhi Yojana scholarship which is 40000 yearly.
Campus Life
Our cultural event is mood Indigo which is this year biggest event. Aur college has a central library and each department have its own department library with availability of every kind of book. Many clubs and societies are active for socialization.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel fees about 50000 which includes our mess fee. Food quality is getting better. Best Wi-Fi connection is available. Hostel is kept neat and clean. You can avail for hostel facilities after getting admission.
Admission
I got this college after JEE advanced examination and my rank was about 1500. I have interest in mechanical engineering and this is the top most engineering college in India so I choose this college. There is no personal interview for GD round to get admission.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio in IIT Mumbai is about 1 by 15 which is more than enough. Regular quiz and examinations are being conducted which marks are being added as our internal. Faculties are very friendly and they will help you in labs and experiments.
Night Life
Each hostel have their personal gym. Our mess food is good in compared to other colleges. We hangout at Nescafe and cafeteria. We have closed campus so it is very safe to room around. And it is located in urban place so here is various option outside.
