First of all it is IIT Bombay, everything about its campus is great, really beautiful campus, rich culture among students, all the festivals and all are celebrated so good you dont miss your home. The Campus becomes your new home.
Infrastructure is best among the country, all lecture halls and audiotoriums have really Infrastructure, they are AC equipped, each bench has their own charging port,no projector instead smart digital screens are equipped.
Faculty is also good, they live in campus only so they are available many times, they sometimes visit our hostels to ask us how it is going. They listen to students also while grading.
Dislikes
The quality of hostels you get in 2nd 3rd year, which are H 2,3,5,6,9 really it gets worse from left to right. Rooms are small, hostel is dirty, some structure might collapse, In H6 and 9 theyve combined two rooms in place of one room.
Some students are toxic, not really institute's fault but they exist.
In some courses or labs grading is really tough not so lenient.
Placement Experience:
The final year students who have completed 7 semesters or 9 (for dual degree)get opportunity to sit for placements. Placement season happens in winter break after 7th semester. Almost all Companies visit the college some major being Apple, Boeing, Airbus, Google, IBM, L&T, ISRO, Microsoft etc. Highest package being above 1 Crores and average being around 30 Lakhs. According to reports 35% students were not placed but in reality many of the students don't sit for placements or got pre placement offer. My plan after degree is to become an Entrepreneur and to open my own firm
Faculty and student environment is very skilled and competitive

Academics can be stressful due to high competition
Hostels are old and lacks management and facilities
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of computer science and engineering is very well defined with respect to future perspective. One can pursue higher studies with ease or can move to industrial level. There are both theory and lab courses which prepares us for real world. There is also freedom to study courses from other departments and include them in degree credits. Exams are held mostly 4 per course per semester i.e. 2 quizzes, 1 mid semester and 1 end semester.
IITB is the no 1 institute in India for engineering. It has the best research facilities available. The professors and peers are really talented and helpfull.
Dislikes
Nowadays, a lot of construction work is happening in campus.

Placement Experience:
Campus placement happens in 7th semester. All the students can sit in campus placement who haven't accepted PPOs.
During phase 1 of placement nearly 200 companies visited and 800 around students were placed in the first phase.
Nearly 60 to 70% students get placed via placement and some via PPOs.
The campus life is what I loved the most. You get every thing from sports to different types fields to work on.
First thing that comes to our mind after hearing IITB is the academic, which is undoubtedly excellent.
The extend the freedom which the college provides. It treats you like an adult, instead of a child.
Dislikes
The academics of Electrical Engineering is somewhat hectic.
The socialization between the students is very good, but lower in comparison to other IITs
