- IITB is the no 1 institute in India for engineering. It has the best research facilities available. The professors and peers are really talented and helpfull.

Course Curriculum Overview
In initial years of our course, we're taught all the background that is needed to take any advanced knowledge. After 2nd year, we have to choose 9 compulsory courses from our department and 2 from institute wide. While choosing these 11 courses, we can explore in any area we want and we are sure that we will get the best possible knowledge about it.
Internships Opportunities
Internship happens in 5th semester. Many companies come for internship in almost all the areas like technology, analyst, consulting and finance. Companies include google, Microsoft, Intel, Texas instruments, Qualcomm, graviton, McKinsey etc
Placement Experience
Campus placement happens in 7th semester. All the students can sit in campus placement who haven't accepted PPOs. During phase 1 of placement nearly 200 companies visited and 800 around students were placed in the first phase. Nearly 60 to 70% students get placed via placement and some via PPOs.

Campus Life
Mood Indigo is the cultural fest happens in December. Techfest happens in December. E-summit happens in February something. There are numerous technical and cultural clubs like UMIC, IITB racing, IIT rocket, vaani, insync, finance club etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rent is 15000 Mess fees is 22000 Mess is compulsory while taking a hostel Meal quality is average Hostel and mess registration happens on college website. A mess card has to be made once you are registered.
Admission
JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED qualification is necessary for admission in any IIT After JEE advanced, I got admission by josaa councelling where we had to pay 15000 once we are alloted a seat in a college I got my seat under SC reservation
Faculty
In our electrical engineering department, faculty to student ratio is good. We have atleast 4 to 5 professors working in a single area so it gives us a better opportunity to choose between profs for our projects. The interaction with professors is easy, we can just go and meet them in their office.
