- College faculties helps the students alot outside of lectures.
- College encourages and focuses more on project based learning instead of only one final paper.
- They make sure you publish atleast 5 to 6 research papers throughout your college tenure which inturn helps during placement.
Dislikes
- Campus was not very big as I had hoped .
- Student section takes alot of time whenever you are in need of something.
- Club activities sometimes takes precedence over other important things.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'd say they are quiet thorough when guiding us throughout the semester and makes us understand the said course via projects which helps us understand it quickly in our own time. Through vivas and written exams they make sure that students also has subjective knowledge along with the practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
The training placement office offers teh students multiple choice for there placement if a student wants to only opt for internships they can apply for that particular companies and some students wants direct placements they can apply for that companies as well and others can do both. The stipend for internship differs according different companies and there role it ranges from 10k-80k per month.
Placement Experience
The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees for SC/ST category students is 4-5k per annum, for VJNT students its 24-25k per annum and for OBC and EWS students its 105000. For general category its 192000. You can also avail for other scholarship for hostel accommodation.
Campus Life
There multiple cafeteria situated in the college, which provides good food, during college hours. There 10-20 different clubs which caters to each and every nerds that are looking for there similar kind. There are 3 major events that takes place each year and each event last 3-5 days this event includes college fests and sports activities
Admission
I had talk with other seniors of the college before taking admission also before i filled my college preference they guided me accordingly stating me all the pros and cons thats why choose this college instead of others although it wasn't my first choice but we'll make do .
Faculty
Each class is devided into 3 sections of approximately 20 to 25 students and each section has there own lead faculty which takes care of all the major projects of that sections in that semester. The 4 course projects for the perticular sem has 4 faculty that takes care of that. There are vivas, course projects, presentations and written exam all have the same approximate weight when marking for the semester's final SGPA.
Night Life
There are 4 to 5 gyms in the area around 1 to 2 km and 3-4 public parks which you can visit, college hostel is 2 to 3 km away so alot of students opts for private hostels and pgs so in time differs alot and as for the night life its not that good when compared to other areas in pune.
