course curriculum is highly advanced covering all the topics of the particular branch that the student has opted for. It is also relevant and up to date. Our teachers are also the best of the best in their teaching.

many companies come to see the skills developed by students and hire them as paid or unpaid interns in their companies for a certain period of time normally during the vacations. they also then have a choice to hire the student permanently if their skillset matches the job requirement.

Campus placements are the best at IIT Bombay with average package going to 22 lacs CTC per annum and 4cr per annum as highest package as of last years data. All the top comapanies in each field come to recruit from IIT Bombay like Apple, Google, Walmart, Deloitte, Bain and company, Ernst & Young and many more.

Fee structure is dividied into 3 categories namely academic, hostel and mess fees and other negligible chargers. academic fees is approximately 200000, hostel fees is 39000 and mess fees is 40000 per year. Lab, registrations and other charges are around a few hundred rupees. scholarship and aid is provided to students belonging to SC/ST caste as well as EWS students. these students do not have to pay academic fees but mess and hostel fees is still mandatory for them. financial aid is provided by alumni, private organisations and the college itself.

my overall experience with the campus was very good starting from hostel life to sports and fests. IIT Bombay has the largest cultural fest of asia namely mood indigo and also the most famous tech fest of the country. it has various lecture halls and libraries spread over acres of land.

hostel faculty is good. we get a twin sharing room with 2 beds and 2 tables to study along with 1 cupboard each. mess food is also very tasty and has variety in it serving dessert every night. cleanliness is also mentained by the hostel staff.

I chose IIT Bombay as it is the best engineering college in the country, i also applied to other IITs around the country including Delhi, Madras, Roorkee,Kharagpur etc. I did not get rejected from any college. Admission process is solely done through JoSAA councelling

there are around 15 faculties each having different number of students ranging from 40 in energy engineering to 200 in the mechanical department. I like metallurgy faculty as i have interest in it. I do not dislike any faculty as such as I feel all are important as well as interesting to some extent.
