- Placements is the best thing about the college. Average package is about 13 to 14 lpa.
- You can be placed in private as well as in government job. Like in PSU's as well as in private companies
- Well disciplined and training as well as uniform.
Dislikes
- Sports facilities are not so much good they are average but there is cricket ground volleybal as well as badminton court
- There are no big fests as compared to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is too much relevant to industries and the training and knowledge given is also relevant. Course is good there are many vehicles as well as equipments which are widely used in firefighting, Good ground instructor and training.
Internships Opportunities
The students get internship in PSU'S like ONGC , GAIL ,HPCL, BPCL, IOCL etc. most of the internships are unpaid but some students can also get paid internship in private companies like reliance. There are many projects which are supervised by many IIT's.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students are able to sky in campus placement.The companies which are major recruiters from our coleege are IOCL, BPCL, HPCL ONGC, GAIL, SAIL,Reliance, Vedanta, IGL, HPL, Bharat electronics limited,CAIREN oil , NAYRA etc... the highest package of our college is of 24 lpa and average package is about 13 to 14 plans . Approximately 98 to 100% of students are placed. My plans is to get campus placement and serve as Fire officer in various companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees- 15000 per year and development and other charges are about 9000 per year.Hostel fees is about 18000 per year and mess fees is on monthly basis about 4100 per month. So yearly it is about 44220. Some students got scholarship from various sources such as ongc reliance etc.
Campus Life
There are not too much fest in our college but there is 1 fest Named AGNI in which various sports and cultural programmes are held. Yes there are many books in library related to fire, and various engineering books are also available. There are projectors in classrooms and good sitting seats. Sports facilities are not too much good but there is cricket ground, volleyball net and badminton court also.there is Rotaract club which runs by students and there are cultural as well as sports club.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities are good in college there are 3 seated rooms for 1st year and 2nd year room but from 3rd year there are 2 seated rooms . Meal quality and taste is decent. There are residential hostels in college. Hostel fees is of 18000 per year and mess fees is of 136 per day. Room cleaners comes regularly.
Admission
I have filled josaa and according to my rank I am getting tier 3 NIT'S in core branch. But the placement is not good in core branches so I have choosed this college .the average package of my college is about 13 to 14 lpa. You have to qualify JEE mains to get admission in this college. the cutoff is about 95 percentile for general category. Admission experience is good campus is also good.
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is good in our college, There are 5 assistant professor,1 professor and 5 Assistant director and 1 director as well as many guest faculties. Total there are 3 exam in one semester Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and semester. They are of moderate level You can easily pass it just by studying 1 week before exam. Hardly any one get fail. This course is too much relevant to industries.
Night Life
Night roaming in the campus is not allowed.every students have to un the hostel before 10:30PM. You have to into the campus before 10 PM . There is well equipped gym in the college.there are many places to go and hangout but in day time it is not allowed to be out of campus in night there is proper entry and out time in gate.there is Futala lake near by and many lakes as college it is in main nagpur.
