DISCIPLINE is best thing in this college. you have to do proper shaving , proper hair cut ,and turnout should be proper otherwise you will be return from the ground.

Dislikes

There is no proper sport ground but it is in progess to make sport ground proper.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is very unique field it is not like other course it consist ground and academic both so you should maintain that thing . Here equipment are topnotch there are 16 fire tender and there cost for one is approx 5cr and it will give you real feel for fire fighting .

Internships Opportunities

In internship college doesn't support as much you can do internship from 2nd year by connecting with senior and alimni of this college jus like if you want to do internship in Gail see which senior is in Gail and call them for internship and apply for internship they will arrange all thing for you This college alumni network is solid .

Placement Experience

Previous year 63 batch strength 61 is placed 2 is not placed because they rae having back and average package is 13.5lakh and 9lakh is median and here PSU recruit the based on interview. In this year till now 13 got placed and still many company will come in jan.

It is only government college in Asia for fire engineering

Campus Life

There is no fest and so all. it is having sport club , clutural club ,safer club, DRR club. If you want explore and and enjoy and having fest so don't come in this college . In this college only ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated where you can enjoy other wise no such program is organised in this college

Hostel Facilities

The provide you will be good because is new . So hostel is better tan many iit's Some room bouble share and some 3 sharing Mess food not bad but also not bad at all . After your admission you will come to hostel and at hostel gate you will allot hostel every student got hostel no one day scholar here .

I applied for jmi and i got electrical engineering but my aim is to minimum electronic and communication but i didn't so my interest is in the armed force and this fire engineering course is just like that ground, punishment , academic and senior fallin . That thing attract me to come in this college.

Faculty

1 :71 faculty is good it is not just like other college because hee student are less and techer give one to one attention like school and 5echer care for you in other college teacher doesn't care to the student

Night Life

I previously to.d you that there is roll call at 9:00pm where all student should present and no one will be outsude from campus . If you want to go outside in night and working day you have to sign a gate pass by your class teacher and syndicate. In this college having a good gym and library no cafeterias have a little canteen but in academic building .

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Likes

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

But the placement is not good in core branches so I have choosed this college .the average package of my college is about 13 to 14 lpa. According to my rank i was getting hbtu with it branch as that was the best after this college. But, after knowing more about this field. i was fulfilled with the placement which is provided in national fire service college. I had a flight for gati Shakti vishwavidyalay Vadodara where I get a confirm seat but I did opt NFSC ahead of gati Shakti vishwavidyalay because NFSC has very good placement and you can also join PSU without GATE examination at NFSC. Also the fee of nfsc is very low as compared to gati Shakti vishwavidyalay. Admission process: first you have to given JEE examination which is conducted by NTA. Then you have to apply for NFSC Nagpur. Then you get a call letter from nfsc Nagpur. Where document verification and medical examination are taken. At the time of counselling I also looked for the college like DDU Gorakhpur,DU,MMM Gorakhpur, IET Lucknow. I choose this college because this is the best college as per my rank and having a best placement of 100% and serving the nation being a fire fighter . No I did not get rejected from any of the above colleges but I did not joined them. I had applied for KIIT Gurgaon. I got a confirmation in KIIT Gurgaon along with National Fire service college Nagpur. I choose this college over kiit Gurgaon because of the following parameter. (I) placement:- nfsc has very good placement as compared to KIIT Gurgaon. And also they provide direct placement in psu's company. (II) fee:- the fee structure was very low as compared to KIIT Gurgaon. Firstly you have to fill the form of the college on the basis of your JEE mains score. NFSC is a very new college which has just started the B.E course in 2015 so very few people know about this. After the form being filled you will be called for personal interview and physical test if you get selected for this round depending on your JEE scores (for general:: more than 88 percentile,for obc :: more than 84, for sc and st :: more than 70 percentile).In the physical and personal interview round your blood pressure,mental state ,eye sight,chest ,knock knee, flat foot and harnia will be checked. If everything ok and the documents are correct you will surely get a call letter .NOTE : you have to physically visit the college for all these processes.!!
