IIT Bombay's Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management announced MBA 2026-27 admission results on April 20, 2026. Selected candidates must pay admission fees of ₹4,28,700 (General/EWS/OBC-NCL) or ₹2,28,700 (SC/ST/PWD) by April 24, 2026.

IIT Bombay's prestigious Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) announced its MBA admission results for the 2026-27 batch on April 20, 2026. Shortlisted candidates who appeared for personal interviews can now check their admission status through the official admission portal at portal.iitb.ac.in.

Selected candidates must act quickly to secure their seats by completing the admission fee payment and document verification process within the specified deadlines.

The IIT Bombay MBA 2026-27 program is a rigorous two-year full-time course designed to develop managers with comprehensive understanding of business functions.

The selection process evaluated candidates based on CAT 2025 scores (42.5% weightage), personal interview performance (42.5%), graduation marks (5%), work experience (5%), extracurricular activities (3%), and postgraduate qualifications (2%).

Document verification will occur in July 2026, requiring candidates to submit self-attested copies of educational qualifications, date of birth certificates, migration certificates, caste/tribe/non-creamy layer/disability/EWS certificates, CAT score cards, and work experience letters. OBC-NCL and EWS candidates must provide certificates issued on or after April 1, 2026.

Candidates whose qualifying degree results are still awaited must submit a certificate from their institution's head confirming degree completion before July 22, 2026.
