Course Curriculum Overview

4

Here the course curriculum is available in the institute website. The experience of the faculty and the job placements companies had influenced me to choose aerospace branch. The sources in the lab, new idea innovations are very well encouraged by the faculty, tech team managers, etc., On the ending of every semester, the feedback is to be given by every student for every course he/she took, and the feedback will be anonymous. By considering the feedback, changes and development take place as soon as possoble.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are introduced to students from 2nd year of their graduation. There are various types of internship programmes in IIT Bombay. Like, i. Department internships or projects: Departments often have projects ongoing where they require help from students. Orientations and interviews are conducted by that internship staff and enthus are taken for their personal experience and interest. ii. Research internships: In general, professors offer research internships in various disciplines. iii. Semester exchange program: This is a program where students can finish their semester in other international universities by applying with eligible information. and so on.. Companies also offer internships during semester breaks for students to work with the companies to get some interactions and some information about the work.

Placement Experience

3.5

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly the fees may vary between 3 to 3.5 lakhs' on an average (including mess, hostel, medical, gymkhana, etc.). Per semester the fees structure goes as below: Examination fees: 1200.00 Gymkhana fees: 2100.00 Medical fees: 1850.00 Tuition fees: 100000.00, etc., The scholarships and remission of the fees are also available for eligible candidates like those who have reservations, annual income less than 5lakhs, girls reservations, etc.,

Campus Life

5

The Asia's Biggest event MOOD INDIGO is conducted in IIT Bombay itself. Many celebrities are invited to this event. It happens every year in the month of december. Other clubs representing dance, singing, acting, technology, sports, etc., are also there with a number of crew in it. Competitions are being held annually. The clubs can compete with international events and competetions also. Some clubs run by a group students with the support the director of the institute like anti ragging, hostel committees, etc.,

Hostel Facilities

4

Every hostel runs by their respective hostel committee with a hostel manager, general secretary, etc., The rules and regulations are strictly maintained regarding noise limitation, friendly gatherings on every weekend or any special occasions, etc., Social interactions are also well maintained to keep a nice contact between a student and neighboring peers, etc., Mentors guide the students in giving suggestions, and helping academically and non academically, etc. Guest accomodations are available in every hostel with certian amount of rent.

Admission

IIT Bombay was my first priority. Because it was the from the first generation of IITs, which was established in 1958. Since then it is in the top 3 in NIRF ranking. Mainly, the future career decision made me to choose this college because the companies which come to this college for taking students for jobs, interns, etc., are so impressive and amazing.

Faculty

5

Faculty does look after every individual with the help of teaching assistants. We are provided the mails of professors of respective courses, in case if we find any problem with anything we can mail to the respective course instructor. Coming to the marking schemes and exam systems, every course has its own marking scheme which is informed on the first lecture of that course. And the exams are conducted in midsems and endsems with quizzes or assignments or both in the middle of the course completion which are also informed by the instructor earlier enough. The difficulty in the exams are mostly moderate.

Interview Experience

5

Getting into IIT is a big task for a student. The person who want to get an admission in IIT, has to clear JEE and qualified to advance. After qualifying in advance, JOSAA counseling is done by every student, in which one has to choose his college and branch in a preference order which ar eligible with one's rank. Atfer certain rounds of counseling the approved college will be shown on the portal of JOSAA. Certain certificates verification are done in college and then the admission is done.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placements are best and 100 percent from last 6/7 years. Our placement cell works as a team for getting placed to every cadet here. Most probably a batch needs 7/8 companies for getting placed. The college has the 100% placement, yes you have heard it right the college has full placement. Each and every cadets who gets graduate from her has a job in his hand with good income. I myself got placement in my 6th semester. My batch strength is 40 and 20 are placed already and some companies are already in line for select the cadets. February we are expecting Fleet Management Ltd. Company. We have an average offer of 600 dollars with no tax cutting.
