the program includes couses that is besd on media theories ,communication research ,and the other roles that are related to media in the society.providing a strong academic foundation.in this course student are more focused on film making...the art of showing things on big screen .it has other various subject related to digital media .there are some specilised course for journalism that has all core subject related to that only.overall this course is more focused on the element related to film making.

I choose this course as i did have interest in this subject. Also my course give me insight into the present world deeper philosophies like capitalism, socialism Teaching methods in the course can be make bettere by including some kind of practicality

During my master's, I felt that the curriculum for some of the papers should have been updated. The curriculum was heavily theoretical. Less emphasis on real-world applications even in the practical classes. They should introduce modern books and softwares for courses such as data analytics with R and Stata. It would be better if they can focus on real-world projects. There were usually two exams in each semester. Sessionals and finals exams. The difficulty level was normal.

They teach us like each and every concept engage us and classes are very interactive.. and reading books like original is one thing is like that they prefer us to read originals . And they need improvement in terms of classes infrastructure smart boards and projects are needed.

The mathematical background that the course has is the main thing that attracted me towards this particular course. Also, the department provides a variety of cbcs courses and optionals to tailor out the curriculum according to our tastes. The faculty members always encourage us to go beyond the course framework and work on research papers and even provide co authorships. One area that needs to be improved is the inclusion of dissertation in the master's programme for economics. Also a six month semester is wound up in almost 5 months.

The course curriculum is very less. Jamia have outdated syllabus for Psychology. There is only a specialization comes in the third semester. But the compulsory two montha field work internshipnte is effective. It is a beginning for the preparation for us for the real world applications. But in Jamia we have many time for preparing for other competitive examinations for higher studies. Exams and teaching methods are good.

Student of last semester is eligible for placement last year various ngos and corporate companies visted eg. smile foundation and Infosys and torrent . There was only 4 students sit for placement and 3 of them placement. Mostly students don't sit for placement instead they enrolled themselves in phds and various government jobs.. im planning for phd for abroad.

I love literature and wanted to know more about it and the curriculum and syllabus is great. There's hint of everything. You have poetry, fiction, non-fiction, American Literature, Indian Writing in English. It's a blend of everything you need to know. The curriculum prepares you for competitive exams and real world issues. You come to a better understanding of society and your mind expands to a better level of understanding. I don't find any flaws in the curriculum. Exams take place twice per year. Besides that internal assessment is there. They're not that difficult, they basically want to know your understanding of the problem and how you analyse the situation.

I am a student of journalism in Jamia Millia Islamia University and the course all the syllabus which is design for us in our department is really very helpful for us because I remember when I was doing the internship I knew many things before that because of my professors or the syllabus which I studied in my class

I did a bachelors and masters in psychology which was a wise decision. I've learned a lot. Specific courses like criminology and rehabilitation psychology being a part of the curriculum influenced my decision for sure. The teachings are comprehensive and it has prepared for the real world. The exams are really really easy if you study well, the professors ask questions which were asked in the previous years.
