- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

- All the students are very creative and innovative , there are various clubs run by students which help us to grow well in every field
- college life of IIT Delhi is the best part we enjoy the college fests and also the sports facilities are very good and we really enjoy a lot
- All the professors are highly educated and the most important thing is we can easily reach out them and they help us
Dislikes
- The fee structure is not rational for everyone it should be equal for everyone regardless of their category
- Sometimes the larger class size make the learning difficult and boring and also reaching out of the doubts in not easy but this does not happen during the department classes
- The culture is more like getting more marks then practical knowledge I sometime found it toxic as well
Placement Experience:
The placement is the best thing about IIT delhi we have around 700 job offer on day 1 this year and overall 1100 were placed out of 1200 many of the students also opt for UPSC preperation and also we are offered seperate placement offers .
I can surely say even if you are an average student at IIT delhi you will get placed if you put bare minium effort

Student in 4th year are eligible for campus placements. Last year around 500 companies had visited IIT Delhi. Around 1200 offers were made. Highest package was 2 cr, Average was 20 lpa. The placement percentage was 85%.

- IIT Delhi is known for its academic excellence. The institute offers world class education with a strong emphasis on research , innovation , and problem solving .
- the faculty , professors here are highly experienced and actively engaged in research . there are great opportunites for placement as OCS team ( Office of career service) is a vertical which manages all placements stats
- the campus is equipped with modern facilities like 24/7 open library, advanced research centres , well equipped laboratories .the course helps to think and solve problems in research and management
Dislikes
- The academic pressure on the students is so high that sometimes students take unusual steps which hamper their life
- the rigorous curriculum combined with a high level of compitition can make it difficult for students to maintain a healthy work life balance
- there may be limited time and opportunities for students to focus on extra curriculars
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course helps to prepare students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits is equally crucial. well the institute needs to improve in some areas, like the timing of exams should be carefully planned in order to reduce students' stress and the difficulty should challenge students without being overly daunting. A semester in IIT Delhi is nearly of 4 months during which they conduct a mid sem and end sem exams.

- The campus is very much tensed around cg
- The branchism is a little concern here in iitd
- The semester is very short so hectic but as a result you get holidays which are very long

The most of the course are relevant to real world applications but some professors make curriculum more reasearch oriented while some tries to keep it like jee but most of the time it is relevant like col 100, col 106 assignments in iitd are relevant to real life problems

The students become eligible from 6th semester for pre-placements offer. Some of the top recruiters were Microsoft, HCL technologies, Accenture, Jaguar Land Rover India Limited, McKinsey & Company, Rakuten Mobile, etc. Around 1300 offers were made and 260 PPOs and 30 international offers in 2023 batch. The highest package in 2023 was 2.5 Cr per annum. The average package was around 20 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements was around 89% in 2023. My plans are either getting a placement or continue further studies in mechanical department.

- faculty , here the faculty are just awesome they help us to solve every problem and help us to increase our knowledge
- the full decorum is quiet good its so good and good vibes
- the fest , events and all the extra curicular activities are very good

- hostel food is not good , sometimes we found flies and even steel wires
- Non faculty persons are very rude and there behaviour is also not good
- academic pressure is also too heavy sometimes we feel too frustrated

the sudents are eligible from the sixth semster, or third year for the campus placements. The name of some companies came for the placement Microsoft ,Jaguar Land Rover India Limited , Rakuten Mobiles , Accenture etc. Around 1300 offers were made and 260 PPO's and 30 international offers in 2023 batch . The highest package in 2023 was 2.5 cr per annum . The average package was around 20 LPA . The percentage of students getting placed was around 89 percentage in 2023. My Plans are either getting a placement or going for the civil services

- i liked the academic and cultural environment of the college i gives exposure to me and also make me confident in interacting people.
- in college there are many activities to do so you will never feel boring and through this you can make new friends also.
- the infrastructure of campus is great. the academic faculty is also great and supporting. the girls to boys ratio is of sround 1:4.

- the hostel mess food is not that much good and the hostel cleanliness is also not so good.
- the avcademic pressure is slightly high and the attendence policy.
- the 8 to 6 class makes the day hectic sometimes.

At IIT delhi, top companies from core, consulting , tech and finance background recruit students. Placements begin in 7th semester. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart come for recruitment. Avg package is around 12-14 lakhs with highest reaching even 1-2 crores inr.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
