Great campus, good competition, well placements
Very much experienced faculty which all have done post doctral
The non ragging campus due to its strict guidline provide a safe campus

The campus is very much tensed around cg
The branchism is a little concern here in iitd
The semester is very short so hectic but as a result you get holidays which are very long

Course Curriculum Overview

The most of the course are relevant to real world applications but some professors make curriculum more reasearch oriented while some tries to keep it like jee but most of the time it is relevant like col 100, col 106 assignments in iitd are relevant to real life problems

1 lakh/semester tution fees 5000 rs/semester examination and other charges 25000/ semester hostel fees Total fees 8 lakhs for 4 years Total hostels + mess fees 50000 rs per year Total fees after 4 year btech 12 lakhs approximately

Campus Life

There are total of 18 clubs with one just forming new covering all aspects of extra curricular. Infrastructure of iit delhi is grameat even the campus area is smaller as compared to other iits but a lot of greenery it is well maintained

Hostel Facilities

Hostels which are made befor 1990 are little bit old but they will be demolished soon but overall maintaince and hostel facilities are ok and may be considered better than most of the kota rooms. In hostels itself mess is included which is good.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

It is near my location It placement statistics were very high better than other iits It has a great startup culture It is more north Indian type which Perfectly suits my food requirements. It has anti-ragging rules which are strict

Faculty

The faculty are very much experienced as all of them have done post doctoral and have very much experience in research field of thier interest. Also most of the professors are helpful in every possible way.

Night Life

Campus nightlife is full of enjoyement where each hostel has its own night mess and the gate no1 ofbiit delhi is open to all students 24 x7 so there is no restriction over this. Outsources food are also available at campus

Placement Experience:

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

An Unbiased Look at DTU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester onwards. The average package is around 20 LPA and the highest package is 85 LPA. The placements percentage for top branches is around 80% and many big companies like Amazon, Uber, Google, Microsoft, etc. offer placements. After my degree I plan on securing a placement on the tech field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked physics and applications of physics so chose mechanical engineering, as ut has a lot of application of physics directly can really see how things work not just ideally but actually Curriculum is really good besides getting assignments which noone takes seriously everyone just copies , there must be much more practical stuff so that everyone learns but we do get that in tech teams but not directly as a student in college. There must be practical teachings and proper guidance proper high level machineary must be there, industry visits must be there and internships in such companies must be encouraged There are 5 exams of 1.5 hour considered as mid sems and 6 exams of 3 hours considered as endsems

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Life at Cluster Innovation Centre

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.

M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges. I had applied to IIT bombay, IIT Jodhpur, IIT madras and IIT kanpur but I got offer for IIT Delhi before all the other colleges.
