Life at IIT Delhi

The course curriculum has been made after many years of iteration and it also get revised after every 12 years. We have basic courses in our 1 and 2 year and in our 3 and 4 th year we build upon them for the industry based application of these courses. I have course like machine learning, Finite element method and Computational fluid dynamics which are very importatnt for industrial experience.

The intership offers are around 600-700 this year and all big companies like tower, amazon, google, microsoft , BCG adobe and many more come to campus to offer intern. the stipend varies from about 18 lak per month to 1 lakh. Ther are different caterogies in which we get intern like SDE roles, AI and ML, product management, Quant and consultancy. I myself done projects for SDE and also some Machine learing projects also done around 200 question on leetcode

The placement is the best thing about IIT delhi we have around 700 job offer on day 1 this year and overall 1100 were placed out of 1200 many of the students also opt for UPSC preperation and also we are offered seperate placement offers . I can surely say even if you are an average student at IIT delhi you will get placed if you put bare minium effort

Semester fee if you belong to general and OBC and your yearly income is above 9 lakh then you have to pay tutition fee of about 1 lakh 20 thousand and then there are different charges for hostel and mess. Approximately you need to pay around 40 thousand in total per semester for mess and hostel. For SC and ST regardless of thier income there is no tution fee But paying fee is very easy for IIT students as we can easily get Loan from bank at very low interest

We have two fest in one year first is our techincal fest RDV . this is one of the best fest of Asia and we enjoy the stalls , live stages, and best parts are the pro nights. We also have our techinal fest TRYST this is one of the unique and interesting fest. Various college participate with thier robotic clubs events like robo war, robo scoorer are conducted every year

we are provided with double sharing rooms in our first and second then we get single room from 3 year. the room is a bit small for 2 people but it has all essential things . the hostel culture is the main thing which we really enjoy. The mess is also very nice as compared to other college and PG facilities we also have special dinner and we can have both veg and non-veg food

I applied for the IIT bombay electrical as well but the cutoff was bit high according to my jee advance rank but i was satisfied with my current course I couldn't make to IIT bombay because of my JEE advance rank but it does not matter too much now to me The eligibility to give jee advance exam is that you can give the exam with your class 12 and one year after that You need to clear cutoff of jee mains first then only you are allowed to give the exam of jee advance Application form and everything is available on jee mains nta official website and for jee advance refer to jee advance website Every required reservation benefit information is available one month before the exam of jee mains

The faculty members are ery nice we have first a head professor and then many teacher assistents all of them are very nice and easy to reach out Course structure vary course to course but we are well informed about at the starting of semester We have two exam one minor and one major each semester We work on credit system so we have to earn particular number of credit per semester for degree requirement.

Generally our classes end around 6 pm and after than we generally go to GYM or ground for sports. the library is very nice here which is opened from 8 in morning to 3 in night We have many nightmess in the campus which provide different variety of food at affordable price also they are opened form 9 to 3 in night we can hang out in the night as well because the campus is very safe and we can go out at any time from the campus
