- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

Placement Experience:
The placements are fabulous. The average package is around 20 lakhs and, the maximum placement offer is 4 crores. Almost all of the students get placed in the placement sessions. The office of the career services manages all the placement-related procedures and is an excellent team core.

So, students usually get placed after the 6th semester onwards, the biggest companies visit my college including Amazon, Flipkart, Honeywell, tech companies, etc. The highest package is in crores and the average is 12 LPA which is pretty good and a startup mindset is always appreciated.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I first chose the mechanical engineering department but after 1st year I got it changed to electrical engineering, the faculty is good and supportive and they periodically give you projects to evaluate your problem-solving skills as well.

Placement Experience:
7th-semester end we must apply for it with our resume. Eligibility depends on the cg criteria of the company one is applying for. I would do higher studies after my degree completion. 60-80 percent of the people get placed.

The students become eligible in their 7th semester for placements. The number of offers this year was 1500+ with companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Optiver hiring. The highest packages are usually international offers. The percentage of students getting placed is 70%.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester. Very famous and big companies like Del, Intel, Cisco, Amazon, Google etc. visit the campus during the placement season. My plans after I get the degree are yet not very clear as I am still trying to figure out what I want to do further in my life.

Placement Experience:
The placements are done through OCS, IIT Delhi's placement cell. All the top companies including Google, Microsoft, BCG, and Optiver visited. There were 1300 Job offers and more than 260 PPOs were made to students. In all 1150 students were selected. The highest offer made was INR 4 crore by Jane Street. I plan to pursue higher studies after completing my Btech.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I was interested in Electrical Engineering, hence I chose this course.
The faculties over here are highly qualified with many of them having qualifications and experience abroad.
We get 2 Minors and 1 Major which are every month over here.
If one attends the class daily and makes notes it is quite easy to get through it.

The placement here is very good. A student who sits for placement gets placed on the basis of cgpa, shortlisted and interviewed. Almost all the students get placed with a decent salary. ocs is resposnoble for placement.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
