Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in Electrical Engineering, hence I chose this course. The faculties over here are highly qualified with many of them having qualifications and experience abroad. We get 2 Minors and 1 Major which are every month over here. If one attends the class daily and makes notes it is quite easy to get through it.
Internships Opportunities
There is a variety of opportunities for internships over here in summer and winter. There are options for part-time, full-time, online or offline and so on. One can even volunteer for OCS and get closer to working on how it works.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fortunately, there are many facilities available for people with financial difficulties. There are various types of scholarships offered to assist it. Also, people below a certain income range are given different amounts to pay. Every semester the top 7% from every branch are given scholarships.
Campus Life
It is quite diverse. We have Drama Club, Music Club, Dance Club, design Club, Fine Arts And Creativity Club, Hindi Samiti, Literary Group, Photography and Film Club, Quizzing Club and SPIC MACAY. There are also technical clubs like Devclub, Economic Clubs and so on. A variety of sports is offered here be it athletic, indoors or aquatics.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels have been here around for several years. There are students from all years living here. The staff is very friendly over here and every care is taken of students. I'm from Kailash Hostel and the food over here is quite good. The accommodation has no issues.
Admission
Anyone who has completed 12th grade can apply for the JEE main exam. Once JEE main is cleared they will be then qualified to answer JEE Advanced. Those who pass the minimum cutoff are then eligible to get into any IITs. They need to have 75% in boards. However one needs a certain rank or cutoff to get certain branches and or certain IITs. Like for CSE in IITB one needs to be in top50 AIR while it could be top100 for CSE IITD I think the admission process would be better if the 75% rule is removed
