- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I like electrical engineering. 1:20 is the ratio of faculty which includes professors, assistant professors, associate professors, and teaching assistants which are selected from dual degree students, masters students, phd students and sometimes professors themselves. Exams are tough.

Placement Experience:
The placements at IIT Delhi need no introduction and are the best in the industry. Quant, Tech, Consult, etc. Top companies from each field come here to grab the smartest brains in the country. The highest packages go into crores and any student who works decently during the four years can stay ensured that he will get a very good placement.

Placement Experience:
Placements are good. A large amount of well reputed companies come for recuitment like Google , Microsoft . Average pakage is about 14 lakhs. A good percentage of students get placed, I am not sure about the exact valur but around 85%. Currently I don't have any plans after degree.

Placement Experience:
Campus placements take place in the 7th semester. Various companies, both international and Indian visit the campus during placements. This year, 600 students received offers during campus placements. The highest package was 3 crore and the average is at around 10 lakh.
My plans after the degree aren't compeletely decided yet.

Placement Experience:
Students can sit for interns in 1st year only placement open in 4th year only.
Alot of companies visit such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Bain, MasterCard, etc. 600 offers were made this year.
Highest package offered was 3 Cr. And average package being 15 LPA.
Alot of students get pre placement offers and alot of them go for research after that around 80% students are placed. Rest work for start ups or higher exams.
I've decided to go for consulting.

Students in their 7th semester are eligible for campus placement also some students get pre placement offers from the companies they internet in their 3rd year.Average package is around 15 lpa and maximum package goes around 1.5-2 crore per annum in quant companies.

FROM THE END OF FIRST SEM EVERYONE IS ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS INTERNSHIPS AND AFTER END OF 3RD SEM FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS.
MANY COMAPNIES VISIT FOR EXAMPLE , JANE STREET , MICROSOFT ,GRAVITON AND MORE THAN 600 OFFERS WERE MADE .
HIGHEST PACKAGE WAS AROUND 3 CR AND 15 LAKHS IS AVERAGE .
PLANS AFTER GETTING DEGREE IS TO GET A JOB.

- Grading is not at all uniform and thus sometimes not reflect proficiency
- Infrastructure is not very good except one or two buildings
Placement Experience:
4rth year students are allowed to sit for placements through the institute's placement cell called OCS (Office of Career Services). Around 100+ of good companies from different sectors like Tech, finance, consulting, core etc come for recruitment. Average package offered is around 20L and highest package can go as high as 2 Cr pa. I wish to pursue highed education and enter research after this degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Jane Street, Optiver, Quadeye, Samsung, Sony, Graviton etc. visit the campus for placements. Around 90% students get placements. I plan on going for higher studies after my degree.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
