Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I like electrical engineering. 1:20 is the ratio of faculty which includes professors, assistant professors, associate professors, and teaching assistants which are selected from dual degree students, masters students, phd students and sometimes professors themselves. Exams are tough.

Class Size: 1200Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy in Indian Institute of Technology has been disastrous for the students who come from low-income families as usually the costs of events hosted by the institute like general championships, sports meets and cultural meets often derive a part of their funds from students as their mess fees. Several scholarships are available for academically profound students from corporates.

Campus Life

Every month during the beginning of even semesters usually in winters of January and February, several fests are conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology Hauz Khaz New Delhi, which include Rendezvous, Tryst, Literati, Speranza, Becon, Vibhinn. books are readily available in the library. classrooms are equipped with amenities.

Admission

the Indian Institute of Technology that too Indian Institute of Technology is a tough nut to crack. Several people currently studying with me at IIT Delhi took coaching during their school times. Eligibility - 75 per cent in boards and a good rank in jee advance(category wise).

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Firstly, IIT Delhi is a platform fromWhere you can achieve anything be it High salary, entrepreneurship, research and higher education, civil services, and what not to mention. We have Indias best labs in educational institutions and we are not limited to the discipline we choose, a physics student can do research in biology or a mechanical student can sit in coding interviews. Apart from that, we have very active clubs who are constantly putting efforts to develop the interest of students in their respective fields. We have the best professors who are internationally known.
