I believe that the Energy sector is the fastest growing sector of the economy and this was the right time to contribute in the field. For Btech it is around a 1:10 faculty to student ratio The faculty are very highly qualified and experienced. The exam difficulty varies from professor to professor.

Internships Opportunities

There are multiple ways a person can get an internship in college. They can either apply for a research internship under a professor of their liking or they can try out internships from the placement cell- OCS.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Jane Street, Optiver, Quadeye, Samsung, Sony, Graviton etc. visit the campus for placements. Around 90% students get placements. I plan on going for higher studies after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for students from EWS and reserved categories is very different from those in general category and there are a lot of provisions for scholarships. I personally did not receive any scholarship from the college.

Campus Life

The life at campus is absolutely exhillarating. The annual fest is called Rendezvous and the tech-fest is called Tryst. They are conducted close-by in the month of March. There are over 200000 volumes available in the library. The classrooms have AC and thermal insulation. There are grounds for cricket, hockey, football, basketball, badminton, tennis, squash and an Olympic size swimming pool. BSW is run by the students

Hostel Facilities

Table, chair, fan, bed, window. The food in the mess is not that good. It is very affordable and registration is done while taking admission itself. It is located around 2 km away from the main lecture halls and academic block

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I cracked JEE advanced to get admission into the college. I had to study physics, chemistry and mathematics of class 11th and 12th to a great depth. I solved coaching materials as well as various books along with previous year question papers.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

College that give life a purpose.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

IITD is an old IIT and has an entrepreneurial atmosphere making it my first choice.I applied for the some other colleges I am comparing with ahead. Fulfilling experience at IITD.

Bachelors is required with 55% atleast. JAM score is required. Cut off for obc was 33 as far as I remember . The entrance test tests your quantitative and qualitative ability. All the details are given on the website of iit delhi or just typing JAM would do. JAM gives you the opportunity to do your msc economics from iits. Admission to IITD occurs through JEE Advanced; In which an individual had to first clear JEE Mains then ADV. They have to prepare for three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; concepts must be clear from the base level. As soon as the application form will be released; news will come in newspapers since it's a national-level exam or you can search on the Official Jee mains website. Application fees for Jee Mains in 2022: 650/- and for Jee ADV: 2800/-(not sure). Application dates will be released on the official website. To avail of reservation benefits you must have a category certificate that had been renewed within 6 months from counseling (FOR OBC-NCL). If from SC-ST, then can use any certificate.
