Remarks

I have appeared for jee main in 2020 and I got 97.3 percentile. Then I have a chance to go to NIT but I opted for mechanical engineering in NSUT because it provides very good placement and also has a good carrier.As for admission, I have applied in jac delhi then after 4 round I got a seat in NSUT .and the minimum marks is to get admission in NSUT is 96+ percentile for general.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have gone for mechanical engineering because there are many family members who are from a mechanical engineering backgrounds where I can see that they got very good carrier . And the faculty of my college is too good they clear each and every doubt of student .the student ratio is 2:1. There are many exams such as st, lt ,mid term ,qt ,and end term . The difficulty of end term is moderate and another exam is easy to moderate.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 850000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After 4 semesters students are eligible for campus internships. And the major internships are offered by Google. And the student gets more than 10000 as a stipend. As I don't know much about internships but after consulting from seniors I can say that the student gets very good intership from college.

Placement Experience

After 6 semesters students are eligible for placement. The total number of companies visited last year is more than 170. And the offers were made more than 352. The highest package is 1.25 crore to software engineers and 500000. 100 percent of students get placed in the tech branch and 90 percent of students get placed in core branches. I want to get a very good placement from college .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of btech in NSUT are as follows:- 1 year-190000 2 year-201000 3 year-212000 4 year-229000 There are many scholarships for students in NSUT such as merit cum scholarship for sc and st students, and also for those students who get less than 2000 rank in jee .

Campus Life

The annual fest name is moksha, and it is conducted in the month of may-June. And the library of NSUT is awesome and also too big which contain more than 2.4 lacs book .the room are very clean and hygienic. There are many sports in NSUT such as badminton, gym, table tennis, carrom, cricket, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi etc.

There is a training and placement cell in nsut and yes placement is offered in our college. 1. After your 2nd year in btech, you are eligible for internship placement and after 3rd year your are eligible to sit in job placement. 2. There are many good companies that come to nsut, like zomato, meesho, Microsoft, google, azure, adobe, and list is really long. 3. The highest package this year was around 50LPA. The profiles are based on tech - software engineer, non tech - data analysis, core - electrical or mechanical or civil or chemical engineers in core companies like BSES, google silicon etc.

Campus placements are offered, managed by office of carrer services where students can apply for companies, almost all the reputed companies visit here but some dark truths include diversity hiring where they chose students not for their merit but because they belong to a certain gender or department

Balanced Experience in BTech CSE

Placement Experience:

Placement start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, HCL and Hexaware visited, offering very few positions. Highest pacakge is INR 12 LPA, Average is 3 LPA. About 30% of students get placed. I plan to pursue further studies.

Placement Experience:

All the big Mncs and heavily paying firms come to our college . Most of then are open for every students. But some only open for top branches. Placement are best in iits but some students go for UPSC and other for MBA or higher studies , so the percentage drops.

Placement Experience:

Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. 1. I applied to only 2 colleges DTU and NSUT. But I didn't choose dtu because of traveling issues, as it was 2 hours away from my house and nsut was just 15 mins away. 2.
