- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

Placement Experience:
Students in their final year are eligible for campus placements. About 100+ companies visit for campus placements and about 500 offers are made, the highest package goes about 2 Cr per annum and the average company package is about 12 LPA, and around 50% students get placements. Personally, I'm planning to go for higher studies instead of placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I was keen on joining IIT Delhi due to the sheer opportunities it offers and this was the only course I was eligible for at my rank.
Faculty Student ratio = 1:10
Good Faculty,
3 exams per semester, Not very difficult.

Placement Experience:
Placements are among the best in the country. The average package of 13lpa with circuital branch placements being higher. More than 500 offers were made every session with over 50 percent getting placements and 25 percent going for higher studies.

Placement Experience:
The placements at IIT Delhi are very good.
People in branches like Computer Science and Mathematics Computing and having a CGPA of 9 and above are well known to bag packages worth crores. Things are also not bad for the others in the circuital branches.
The placements for non-circuital branches are pretty poor by comparison though, as most tech companies do not open for them and the only well-paying companies (1.5 Lakh per month) are consulting companies, which are highly competitive.

The placement is very good. One of attraction of our college attractions is the great placement. 50-60% are placed. Many go for higher education. The highest packages go in crores. I will likely go for higher education.

Placement is the best part of our Institute. Students start placing from the 7th semester onwards. There are more than 500 companies visited the campus. More than 90% of students appeared to get placed in placements. More than 1500 offers were made to students. The highest package given is Rs 3.4 Cr and the Average package is Ts 20 lakhs. I want to start a startup after getting a degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I was getting chemical engineering at IIT Roorkee and Materials Science at IIT Delhi. I checked the curriculum of both branches and I found materials science more interesting and also find some good research topics to explore. The faculty-student ratio is also good in my branch. Professors are also available to guide. All Faculties are PHDs doing research in various fields. We can also do projects under them and learn.
We have 2 minors and 1 major exam. It's not that difficult to pass if you study a bit the whole semester.

everyone is familiar that iits provide excellent campus placements, many large mncs visit iitd campus and this happens in Dec first week, most of the high 1-2cr packages are done on day 1 itself, this time I also volunteered in the placement working ocs to get to know how the whole system works

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
