Course Curriculum Overview

The course allotment is based on the choice and rank of the student. The faculty-student ratio is low in IITs. The faculties are really excellent. They are well-experienced and are from very prestigious institutes as well.

Internships Opportunities

The office of career services provides excellent internship opportunities with a vast number of company options. The off-campus opportunities are well expressed with the IIT brand name of IIT Delhi. The projects under the profs here are really good to work at. They provide brain development.

Placement Experience

The placements are fabulous. The average package is around 20 lakhs and, the maximum placement offer is 4 crores. Almost all of the students get placed in the placement sessions. The office of the career services manages all the placement-related procedures and is an excellent team core.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee in IITs is around 3 lakh per semester for hostellers. Non-hostel residents ply on their own. There are various scholarship schemes depending on family income, some specific community members, or disadvantaged groups. The placement scenario is also excellent. A lot of companies visit IITs to recruit students.

Campus Life

The campus life is really vibrant, there are around 13 hostels with full facilities. The state-of-the-art infrastructure of the LHC seamlessly connects the entire college with the hostel and extracurricular activities.

Admission

It is a two-stage examination for admission to IITs. Stage one is JEE Main in which more than 8 lakh students appear and only 2 lahks are selected for the next exam which is JEE advanced. This JEE advanced exam is considered to be very tough and only 6 thousand students can make it to IITs. IITs are India's most prestigious institutes. I have a fantastic academic and extra curricular infrastructure with outstanding placement records.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Firstly, IIT Delhi is a platform fromWhere you can achieve anything be it High salary, entrepreneurship, research and higher education, civil services, and what not to mention. We have Indias best labs in educational institutions and we are not limited to the discipline we choose, a physics student can do research in biology or a mechanical student can sit in coding interviews.
