- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

Placements are very good, they are one of the highest in the country. Companies offering diverse opportunities and job roles offer positions on campus. The highest package goes as high as 4 Cr per annum by Jane Street.

I have an interest in electrical engineering and am mainly into circuits. the faculty-student ratio is 1:15.
many facilities have PhDs from well-reputed schools.
the exams are often challenging and the average goes low.

Student are eligible for campus placement after their seventh semester. Big companies visit the campus like Google Microsoft Jaguar etc the Highest package offered this year was 2 cr and average was 25 lakh almost all students get placed

the student becomes eligible after the 7th sem for placements if he has no disciplinary action ongoing on him
the placements have been a bit sloppy this year but it is a nationwide phenomenon I don't exactly know the statistics but you can get that from your parents on the first week of December
4 crore was the highest package
the percentage of placement is enough I am planning on going for research.

Placement Experience:
B.Tech students in their 7th semester can sit for the on-campus placement drive of IIT Delhi. All of the big multinational corporations, tech giants, etc visit the campus to hire from the best the country has to offer. All the students applying for placements end up getting placed at IIT Delhi. The highest package offered varies year to year but is in the crores. I also plan to sit for campus placements in the technical or quantitative field.

The placement stats are not released officially. But the placement is conducted very systematically and satisfactorily. 80% of students get placed. I am not planning to opt for placement after my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:
This course is one of the best courses in the country. It is the most demanded course by students and by job recruiters. The faculty: student ratio is 1:15. The faculty members are highly qualified from some of the best institutes in the country and even the world. They are quite friendly. They teach in quite a simple language. The timings of the semester examinations are strictly taken care of. Exams are easy if you pay attention in classes and can be a nightmare if not.

My course curriculum is Civil Engineering (B.Tech). The faculty-student ratio is 6:108, our curriculum is supported also by, humanities society with one course of it, and the courses are also supplemented by labs to gain practical experience.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
