Course Curriculum Overview
I had an interest in Mathematics so opted for this course. The faculty-student ratio is decent. The faculty is extremely qualified and dedicated. Term exams are moderate to difficult and passing requires average effort, although scoring high requires considerable effort.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are quite nice. They are offered quite a number and almost everyone gets ample opportunities to develop skills and apply for the same. Stipends vary from company to company and in the field in which they are operating.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good, they are one of the highest in the country. Companies offering diverse opportunities and job roles offer positions on campus. The highest package goes as high as 4 Cr per annum by Jane Street.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are quite high compared to recent trends. There are plenty of scholarships floated by the institute and by the alumni which help students of various backgrounds and economic strata. Fees are also subsidised for low-income households
Campus Life
Life is quite fun. There are plenty of clubs all around to take part in and involve in. The annual fest Rendezvous is a spectacle to behold. The campus is blessed to have the new infrastructure for all purposes.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are quite nice and satisfying. The food quality and standard are quite good, and the mess is run in accordance with student mess committees. Everyone gets a hostel in Undergraduate Courses
Admission
The entrance was through IIT JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The application details are fairly visible in the media and can be looked at. Reservation according to government guidelines, 20 per cent reservation for women.
