Course Curriculum Overview

I love biotechnology so I preferred this as my higher priority. The faculties are great. Most of them have an abroad degree or Ph.D. in the top 10 universities. Exams are tough and in an intervals of one month. Quizzes are a surprise.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Apollo, google, Microsoft, amazon, Flipkart. Software engineering or Manager will be the roles commonly offered. Internships are research or corporate-based as per one's personal choice. It's a very hectic process to apply.

Placement Experience

7th-semester end we must apply for it with our resume. Eligibility depends on the cg criteria of the company one is applying for. I would do higher studies after my degree completion. 60-80 percent of the people get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is a bit higher, but fees should get reduced. Talents of India shouldn't be charged. I never took any scholarship so I don't have an idea. Job opportunities are endless with great packages, and students earn by internships also.

Campus Life

Tryst is the tech fest and Rendevous is the cultural fest being one of Asia's largest fest. Clubs like PFC, FACC, Music, eDC, and a lot more. Great exposure to sports with an international-level swimming pool.

Hostel Facilities

It is viable and it is great as well. Meal quality and menu are the best. When you join the college you will be allotted a hostel if u pay the fees. Jeer Sarai is close to campus with so many PGs.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I cleared jee mains and advanced, eligibility is 75+ in physics chemistry, and maths in boards. Obc has benefits in rank, not in fees. I feel no reservation should be there. The application is in nta website.

Interview Experience

Written test named jee mains and advanced. Some percentile will be declared every year above which all the students are eligible for jee advanced. Jee mains is for admission in NITs and others only and jee advanced is for IITs only.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Firstly, IIT Delhi is a platform fromWhere you can achieve anything be it High salary, entrepreneurship, research and higher education, civil services, and what not to mention. We have Indias best labs in educational institutions and we are not limited to the discipline we choose, a physics student can do research in biology or a mechanical student can sit in coding interviews.
