- One of the very best thing about its location , it's best place all thing there , college started with highway by front gate and ended by a station named sarswati Nagar it's hault but you can take train for here anytime to Raipur
- There will be 100% placements in our college.The very best core companies like ONGC, HPCL and Aditya Birla etc are placement providerspro

- And hostel food is just worst as South Indian we cannot eat North indian food
- College timming is too bad its from morning 9 to evening 5

Placement Experience:
Onwards from 7th semester the companies start taking interviews and offer jobs to the students,many compaines like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, LInkedin, Microsoft, JPmorgan etc are the companies vistes the college and offer jobs to the students.The highest package of the year 2024 is 62 LPA offered by Linkedin to a computer sience student.

- NIT Raipur has a strong placement record with many top companies visiting the campus for recuitments.The training cell is active in organising training and placement activities to help students to secure good jobs.
- NIRF and Ranking :It is under top 79 by NIRF ranking in whole engineering colleges in India

- Campus Area: It has small campus , only about 100acres
- Infrstructure: It has Not very well infrastructure.
Placement Experience:
It provide excellence placement to computer science and Information technolgy branch with avg package of 15 -18 lakhs It also has great placement in core branches like metallurgy and material science, mechanical , chemical etc

- Placements- placements are quite good. But this year it was down. 80-85% students got placed. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro, Phonepay, DeBoy etc came to campus.
- Faculties. They are highly knowledgeable. Almost all professors are PhD holders and are easy to contact. They help us with referrals and study related issues.
Dislikes
- Internships. Very few students gets internship here. This year only 20% got internship.
- Gym and ground. Football and cricket ground are worst. There is no lightening system in these grounds. There is only single gym for whole nit
Placement Experience:
After 6th semester students are eligible for placements. But pre- offers start in the third year. Many good compinies like Wipro, Infosys, Deshaw, Amazon, Deloitte and Phonepay etc visits nit Raipur. Total 834 offers were made this by 125 companies. 55 lpa was highest package offered and lowest was 4lpa. Average package of this year was 13.7 lpa. 71% of all the eligible students got placed this year. After completing my course I'll try to get placement or I'll try higher studies outside India.

Campus placements are for 7th and 8th semester students. Many MNCs visit the campus for placements such as Google, Infosys, microsoft,and other companies like tata,etc. Highest salary package was upto 65 LPA and average was about 20LPA.

- Campus is small and there is a single building for all the branches

Students are eligible for the placemets after the completion of 6th semester. Many company visits in campus to provide placements , one can check the details of the placements and companies on the official website of NIT Raipur. Average package of NIT Raipur is 7LPA where in CSE it is about 15LPA. About 85-90% students get placement during placement drive. My plain is to get the job in a company that arrives in college

Course Curriculum Overview:
CSE is a highly in demand course and at the same time dynamically changing . lab facilities should be improved as well because labs can only provide the practical experience and knowledge of our field. Exam cycle was also very rigid and faculties hardly did any experimentation with the way they can assess the students.

Placement Experience:
companies start hiring from the final year i.e 7th and 8th semester. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Mu sigma, coal India etc visited the campus. 6-7 lakh was the average package and went as high as 25 lakh. In CSE discipline, almost 90 % students got placed. In other disciplines, the placement percentage is low. I joined Coal India Limited as MT (Systems). I was given two offers (other from Mu sigma)

- The college campus is really good we have B Mart for our daily needs and as per food parlour we have amul and vachan and college canteen at our campus as well as Indian coffee house.
- The fests and events are really the best part of being in this college. There are many clubs and committees which organise a lots of fests and events.
Dislikes
- Here at NIT there are not enough hostel for all the students so many students had to stay out side of the college campus.
- In the rainy season the cricket ground turns into a lake. We can not play cricket there.

At NIT Raipur, for the Computer Science branch, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards. - Less fee of course and hostel & mess , Mess is run by students , so you can assure quality food.

- Unavailbility of hostels for all students. Hostels are very less not even 50% of total intake.
- Campus feels small , but only in beginning . Later It will not mater for you.
Placement Experience:
Placements are quite good , depending on branch you will get several placement opporunities in incampus placements. Various companies visits our college for placement or internship opportunities like paytm (visited in 2023) ,D.E. Shaw(only for interns) etc. Average package is 10 lpa across all branches and for cse it's 16 for IT it's 17.5 for 2022-2023.

Placement Experience:
NIT Raipur provide on campus placement so the placement comes in comes like into background for tech and for core as NIT Raipur consists of 11 branches any branches student can sit in tech placement also and the placement is also very nice in our college as it provide maximum student placed different types of companies like TCS Tata Aditya Birla deboi Amazon comes to our college even the Jindal company also come to our college for the course student and many more company visit to our college for internship and for placement the highest package as per the company is around 55 to 56 LPS or CTC and the average package is around 16 lakhs and the below packages is around 6 to 7 average I am talking about computer science and engineering branch and it is as similar as it also and core placement is some what different from technical placement.

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?
As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
