Why NIT raipur is good?

The Computer Science and Engineering curriculum at NIT Raipur is generally well-regarded for its relevance and comprehensiveness. However, specific opinions may vary depending on individual experiences and expectations. In my opinion it's a really good branch for better future opportunities. we have good facilities who guide us towards the future and our improvement. The exams are not very hard i say it depends on your preparation. Although here at NIT raipur we don't have any gaps between our exams i mean we have exams like 5 exam's in a week. So the exams will be over in less than 10 day. With 5-6 theroy and 6-7 practical(lab) subjects. And there's 1-2 months of gap between mid semester exam and the end semester exams so yeah everythings good.

NIT Raipur provides various internship opportunities for its students. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, and DRDO offer internships in roles such as software developer, data analyst, research assistant, and project management associate. During internships, students work on diverse projects ranging from software development, data analysis, and research in their respective fields. The outcomes include developing software prototypes, analyzing data sets, contributing to research papers, and implementing solutions to real-world problems. Stipends for internships vary depending on the company and the duration of the internship, but they typically range from 10,000 to 30,000 INR per month. At NIT Raipur, for the Computer Science branch, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards. At NIT raipur tution fee is 62000 and others fee including exam fee is around 8-10 thousand so total fee for per semester is around 72000. But there are some refund and fee remissions for catagory students and for those whos families annual incomes are less the 1 lakh. The fee remissions is 3/4 for those who's family income is less than 3 lakhs. Here at Nit raipur there are many scholarships options too which helps to cover for all your expenses and tuition fees as well. The job opportunities and placement ratios are good here. The invest and return ratio is pretty good too.

The campus experience is really good at Nit raipur. We have cricket ground, football ground, vollyball, badminton and basketball court For sports and our new indoor sports building is almost ready to open this year. We have a lots of clubs and committees. Which organisation events and fests. Our techno fest is organised by technocracy committee and cultural festival is organised by sanskriti committee. We have samar our sports fest organised by shourya committee and many more for many other activities. The class rooms are good with digital equipment as well our labs have all the required machines and technology. Professor are really qualified here and best at their work. Our centre library has all the required books for our studies and many others book as well. So overall experience and campus life is pretty good we also have Amul and vachan parlour at our campus and Indian coffee house as well.

The hostel facility is good at NIT raipur but we don't have enough hostels for every student at here. There are limits hostels for boy's and girl's. So it's hard to get hostel here. The admission process is easy you just need to fill the form and based on your rank a you'll get the hostel. The fee for food is 17500 per semester and hostels feel is 20000 so complete fee for per year (2 semester) is 55000. The meal quality is good here. We have egg and chicken in nonveg and paneer in veg which is serve 2 day's in a week. For those who didn't get the hostel, most of the students at Nit raipur stay in Kota and DDU it is near the college and there are hostels, pg and rooms for rent.

For getting addmission in this college you need to clear cut off in the ranking of jee mains examination. I belong to sc catagory and my rank was 3799 in my catagory. So i got all the options open for me here. I selected computer science because of my interest. But for getting computer science branch you need to get good ranks. You can check the previous years opening and closing rank and guess which branches you can get from this college. Addmission process is very easy here. You just need to keep all the required documents with you and it will be very smooth. The only thing that is i didn't like is that you have to sit and wait for your turn which is very time consuming. But everything is good and people treat you nicely here.
