Course Curriculum Overview

5

1.I choose electrical engineering because of my keen interest in the sector of electric vehicle and other related fields that are associated with electric vehicle. 2. This curriculum provides me the environment and teach the subjects like power electronics, control system engineering also provides the hands in experience on the few of the tools and simulating softwares like MATLAB and SImulink and aprt from thar there is also motorsports club to provide value addition in this sector. 3. As per my perception there is need of inclusion of few of the subjects that can taught the implementation of ADAS system techniques that can be used in EVs and apart from that her must of exclusion of few of the outdated subjects from the curriculum too that are continued from a very long time. 4. Exams comes usulayy after once in two months. So i think its a quite good frequncy for any students to wrap up the contents reauired for the exam and get the insights of the subjects and able to apply the same for the real world applications.

Internships Opportunities

4

1. There are many companies like jspl, de shaw, cisco, reliance, catterpillar and so on offers internship role with stipends. 2.In order to access of these internships you have to be technically sound in your core subjects along with good projects. Apart from that you have to be quite good with your communication.

Placement Experience

4

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl, bhel, bhel, reliance, catterpillar, eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay around 140000 rs per annum. Students with annualincome more than 5 lakhs rs has to pay complete fee that is around 125000 rs. Students with family income between to 5 lakhs got two-third fee remession on tution fee. Students having annual income less thab 1 lakh got full fee waiver. Stdents belongign to SC/ST got full fee remission on their tution fee.. College helps students to get the scholarship like: 1. NSP(NAtional Scholarship Portal): Its 102000 rsfor first year and around 50000 rs for the next threee years. 2. Shraman foundation Scholarship: Students get 25000 rs per semester on the basis of their family income. 3. Smt Sundari Devi: Students get around 6000 rs per annum on the basis of their family income.

Campus Life

4

1. There are many fests like eclectica, aavartan and may more.Aavartan is tecnical fest conducted by technocracy club of my college. 2.There are a alrge number of books an journals available in our library and you are going to get books of each and every subjects for various writers and publications. 3.Rightnow we are getting smart classes and the avilability of air conditioners in our classrooms along withe the provision of projectors. 4. There are many sports offered to syudents like kho kho, cricket, football, kabbadi, volleyball, and so on. 5.There are may group and various clubs like motorsports, aviation, robotics, technocracy anad so on.

Hostel Facilities

4

1. In our rooms we get the facility of unlimited access of wifi and regular room cleaning facilites. 2. The meals which we are getting in our room is usually good but sometimes there can be fade in the quality of food. 3. Provision of hostel is based on the basis of CGPA of previos semesters and its fee is around 11205 per year. So it's quite affordable as per my perception. 4. Locality like Kota, Aamanaka,Amapara,DDU and many more.

Admission

1. In the JOSSA councelling i got NIt Patna Mechanical engineering in first round and after that i got NIt Bhoapl for the next five rounds of councelling. Thereafter i decided to go for CSAB councelling where i got hte same college that is NIT Bhopal for first round of CSAB and i got NIT Raipur electrical engineering in second round of CSAB. 2.I get rejection from few of the top nits because of my bit low rank rank in jee mains i cant made in few of the top nits because of theri high cutoff. 3.There is no direct admission process for my college. Admssion in my colleg occur through jossa nad csab councelling on the basis of jee mains rank.

Faculty

4

So there used to sit around 57 students in a class for a particular subject and 1 or 2 teachers used to teach a particular subject and there used be around 5 to 6 subjects in a semester and there are around 25 to 30 teaches in a department. The faculties are too approachable and you can approach them whenever you want and they are quite supportive. I like few of the faculties like Dr. S Ghosh, Dr. Anamika Yadav and may others, its beecause of their skills and ability to teach anything conceptually. Till now there is no any faculty member whom i can say that i do not like them. There ar two exams in each semester i.e. Mid semester examination and end Semester Examination. Exams used to be actually moderate level, its neither too easy nor too hard. Failing of students depends on the subjects and teachers. So there is no fixed criteria that this much students are going to fialed in a partiuclar subject. Our course is too relevent when you compare it to the cutting edge tools and technologies related subjects.

Night Life

3

1. There are few of the canteens and cafteria like vachan, pi chai, vihan. Ther is also availability of gym facility inside the campus. Usually GYM gets closed at around 7 pm and opens at around 8 am in the morning. 2.Hostel closes at around 10 pm in night and opens at around 6 am in morning. But if you are coming from home or goning to home, them you cam come and go out any time without any restriction. 3. You can go for jungle safari loctaed in raipur, apart from that you can aslo go for ghatarani, water park, sirpur and dongargarh and may famous places that are near raipur.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

Yeah ,the course in terms of comprehensiveness is really satisfactory. I have some issues with sequence of subjects which are covered ,but there is no compromise with the comprehensiveness. So I would rate good that too .

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
