Remarks

Our college should build there infrastructure and provide facility for games.

Entrance Preview

I gave CGPET and got 12050 rank. I got selected in this college. I know this rank is too much but I haven't prepared much for this.

Placement Experience

Limited company come for campus selection. I don't know why our college don't call more company for recruitment. Either they are doing business and letting the students to just pass and go.

College Events

In our college we celebrate teachers day, annual function, tech fest etc. But some more curricular activities are needed to increase.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I don't think its expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, our college don't provide scholarships but it is provided by the government. But our college help us to fill up the forms and other procedure. Goverment gives us money which is sufficient for one sem fees.

Campus Life

Our college lab work is great. All things are available but some good teacher is needed to guide us. They should tell every thing about machines. Because many big machines are there in our lab machines are useful in future.

Hostel Facilities

Our college hostel is far from college.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our senior students are too helpful but are not active. They should all take a part in different programs and should also guide us to do so.

Exam Structure

Exam of semesters are held in November-December and june july.

Faculty

Our faculty members are too good very helpful.

Life at GEC Raipur

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. My College Review- insight from NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the placement starts. Till now around 30-40 snrs have placed. All the good snrs I know and have already been placed. Companies like- Caterpillar, Schneider Electric, JSL, JSPL, JWL, netarwala, Amazon, Dassault System, Reliance, phonepe, Deloitte, come to our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah ,the course in terms of comprehensiveness is really satisfactory. I have some issues with sequence of subjects which are covered ,but there is no compromise with the comprehensiveness. So I would rate good that too .

NIT Raipur Review: Where knowledge meets real world engineering.

Placement Experience:

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl,bhel,bhel,reliance,catterpillar,eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

This course I think has a very bright future as the cheap making industry is everywhere and in futue AI will require physical component which will be full filled by this department so this will be fulfeeling the real word application however the course maybe more practical. The exams are on every month so it's very rigorous. The difficulty level is moderate.
