Note: The scholarships are given on an annual basis. To continue the scholarships after the first year, the student will have to maintain a minimum prescribed academic performance during the program. Moreover, the students availing of the above-mentioned scholarships will have to complete the entire course at OP Jindal University. In case a candidate fails to do so, he/she must return the scholarship amount.

Merit cum Means Scholarships: This scholarship applies only to Indian students. It is awarded every year to promote excellence among students and also to financially support students belonging to the economically weaker section.

OP Jindal Jewel Special Scholarships: This scholarship is awarded to students who want to pursue Higher/Technical education with the special approval of management. Meritorious students wanting to pursue higher studies and belonging to the economically weaker section are considered for this scholarship. An amount of INR 40,000 each is awarded every year to the eligible students.

OP Jindal Engineering & Management Scholarships (OPJEMS): This scholarship is aimed at promoting academic and leadership excellence. A scholarship amount of INR 1,50,000 per annum (management scholar) and INR 80,000per annum (engineering scholar) is awarded to the meritorious students who have the potential to become leaders in entrepreneurial excellence and innovation.

Student view on course curriculum and exams

My intend to choose this course because it has laid high impact in this field . Metallurgical and material engineering in OP Jindal University has greaterr value than any other couse . And neither my parents werre willing ti allow me study far from home and most probably i didn't have much financial to study over there . My curriculum laids high impact on one individual personality taking mentorship classes and various more events. The frequency of classes are very regular and exams have been regular in every 3 to 6 months The area of improvement is the field of better communication and self confidence in an Individual.

Internship opportunity provided by the college

There are various companies offering jobs or interships like jsw,jspl,jindal bellary plant In tech the companies like Infosys, tech-mahindra, And various other companies. There arw various projects are performed in order to reach the maximum potential in an individual

Top company recruiting from the campus and highest package

Students are eligible from 4th sem for campus placements and interships on all courses. The companies like jspl , jsw , bpl, Infosys and various other comapnies like that. The highest package was around 33 lakh of student in branch of computer science branch. Percentage of student s 40% getting placed After getting the degree I will to look forward in civil services of Indian bureaucracy.

Yearly fees structure of the college

The year wise fees I've to pay is around 255000 per year. The tution fees comes around 100000 Caution fees 80000. Admission fees 40000. Development fees 20000 . Lab fees is 15000. Fees of other batchmates in couse of bba is around 158000 per year .

Annual fests and various activity in the campus

The names of annual fest is Technorollix. The technical festivals are utsav which take place in 6 months . There arw over 40000 books in the college library . Every student can acess them from the library with the help of their id card. The classroom over there are full digital and the use of chalk and duster is very less. In classroom various facilities like Ac , well provied cusion chair and wooden bench . There is various opportunities for games and sports like badminton , volleyball, basketball,gym. There arw various clubs runned by student's like innovation club, photography club,technical club, sports club etc

Hostel facilities provided by the college

The facilities in my hostel include bed , a wadrobe, a table and chair. Ac and non ac facilites arw also there depends on the demands of the students. The meal is good only problem witth it The mess onlg provides veg food . No non-veg. Registration is the one-time things Done while admission in first year You can afford anything after it. There is no pg or hostel near my college you need to visit the city in search of it.

Student views on the faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 2:9 in my college. The relationship over here relies teacher to teacher we cab find various good and experienced teachers and faculties with worth it knowledge . Whereas there arw atill some of them with less experienced and less knowledge trying to evacuate students moral and Functionality of an individual student.

College competence

I applied to Manipal University and even Vellore institute of technology well i got selected in manipal but due to unavailablity of financial resources and also far distant. I couldn't make up to there. And in vellore instute i couldn't make it upto their entrance exam .

Night Life

The night life over here is subtle . Nothing too be included as Night life onlt forests, villages and few dhaba's near it. Since it's all trucks , industries and coal mines over here. Gym timing is till 10pm same goes for library and public area near it. While cafeteria closes at evening only. Due to lack of enough facilities in food. In timing is 10pm night. OP Jindal University Entry Level Scholarship (Indian Students)

OP Jindal Entry-Level Scholarships are offered to the meritorious Indian students of Diploma, BTech, BBA, BCom, BA, BSc, and MSc courses. To avail of the scholarship, students must have a percentage between 60% to 95.01% and above in class 10 for Diploma, class 12 for BTech, BBA, BCom, BA and graduation for MSc. Given below are the 3 types of OP Jindal University Entry Level Scholarships available to Indian students:

1) Shri OP Jindal Scholarship for Boys and Smt. Savitri Devi Jindal Scholarship for Girls

These scholarships are offered to Indian male and female meritorious students of Diploma, BTech, BBA, BCom, BA, BSc, and MSc courses scoring between 80.01% to 95.01% & above in classes 10, 12 or graduation. Tabulated below are the details of the same:

Aggregate of the Graduation percentage in the case of the M.Sc. program

OP Jindal University Entry Level Scholarship for International Students (Other than India)

The Chancellor Scholarship given below is offered to international students pursuing BTech, BBA, BCom, BA, and BSc courses in OP Jindal University. The scholarships are given on an annual basis. To continue the scholarships after the first year, the student will have to maintain a minimum prescribed academic performance during the course of the program.

Moreover, the students availing of the above-mentioned scholarships will have to complete the entire course at OP Jindal University. In case a candidate fails to do so, he/she must return the scholarship amount. Given below are the scholarship details:

OP Jindal University Merit cum Means Scholarships

This scholarship applies only to Indian students. It is awarded every year to promote excellence among students and also to financially support students belonging to the economically weaker section.

OP Jindal University Jewel Special Scholarships

OP Jindal University Jewel Special Scholarship is awarded to students who want to pusue Higher/Technical education on the special approval of management. Meritorious students wanting to pursue higher studies and belonging to economically weaker section are considered for this scholarship. An amount of INR 40,000 each is awarded every year to the eligible students.

OP Jindal University Engineering & Management Scholarships (OPJEMS)

This scholarship is aimed at promoting academic and leadership excellence. A scholarship amount of INR 1,50,000 per annum (management scholar) and INR 80,000 per annum (engineering scholar) is awarded to the meritorious students who have the potential to become leaders in entrepreneurial excellence and innovation.

OP Jindal University Concessions

Various concessions are given on the tuition fee of the students:

Multiple centre of excellence and lab facilities, innovation centre with advanced machine like 3d printer, laser cutting etc. the innovation centre helps startups

Tougher actions required related to ragging among boys

Admission:

CG-PET exam cutoff is accepted in the college. I applied for other colleges through CUET exam and jee exam. I was not able to clear jee and after that this was the best option . A college with affordable fees and decent avg. Package. The lifetime placement advice and guidance and help that is provided in OPJU even after graduation is better than most engineering colleges that don't really care after you graduate.

The infrastructure of the college is good. Campus is well maintained. The greenery in the university is pleasant for the students.
The facilities provided by the college for classes is well equipped. As a CSE student, all the labs and classrooms are AC equipped with smart boards for classes.
The fest is celebrated in a grand way which is Technorollix which is held during the month of March-April every year.

Dislikes

Campus is too far from the main city. Due to which dayscholars have to travel for atleast 45-50 minutes daily to reach college and to go home.
Lack of good health facilities. The medical centre is not efficient enough if someone faces a serious injury.

Keeping it straight forward, I had few options for the other colleges but due to some family issues, I decided to join this college. My family had many connections to this college which helped me to get to this college. As a student, when I first visited this college, it was fascinating for me to see a huge campus for the first time and that attracted me alot. The eligibility criteria for admission is a student must be 10+2 passed and should be appeared in JEE Mains Examination.

Greenery is available everywhere good environment of studying
Things I liked the most is the campus, cafeteria available, gym available also the faculties are nice and supportive

Dislikes

Things I didn't like is the dust and smoke coming out of the factory beside it

Admission:

See I choose the college this is in my own city and will be easy for me to avail. But I recommend everyone to choose on their own because see I liked my college because of placement and greenery present here

Admission process is simple you have to only apply for the course there is no test and interview for the admission in the college. Reservation of seat is also available in the college. I suggest that the college should conduct some exam for the admission.

any of the candidates can register for BBA who has completed their inter-school, the application form can be obtained from the website of op jindal university. for my admission over I called the admission department directly and after the online interview, I secured my seat there.
