My College Review- insight from NIT Raipur

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am of general caste and have no income certificate, so I am paying full fees, that is around 70,000 per semester, so for entire year it is 1,40,000. But many people of different category or by using income certificate are paying around only 6000 rupees per semester so for entire year they are paying 12000. Many scholarship or financial opportunity are available like NSP portal OP jindal scholarship from our college side. Top student from each branch also get some amount, though it is very less.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I pay around 140000 rs per annum. Students with annualincome more than 5 lakhs rs has to pay complete fee that is around 125000 rs. Students with family income between to 5 lakhs got two-third fee remession on tution fee. Students having annual income less thab 1 lakh got full fee waiver. Stdents belongign to SC/ST got full fee remission on their tution fee.. College helps students to get the scholarship like: 1. NSP(NAtional Scholarship Portal): Its 102000 rsfor first year and around 50000 rs for the next threee years. 2. Shraman foundation Scholarship: Students get 25000 rs per semester on the basis of their family income. 3. Smt Sundari Devi: Students get around 6000 rs per annum on the basis of their family income.

NIT Raipur B.Tech Fee Structure (2024-25) The total fee for the first semester is Rs. 1,07,800. This includes a tuition fee of Rs. 62,500, admission fees of Rs. 20,000, and other charges such as a caution money deposit (refundable) of Rs. 10,000. For subsequent semesters, the tuition fee remains Rs. 62,500, but the total payable amount decreases as the one-time charges are no longer applicable. The total fees per semester are: First Sem: Rs. 1,07,800 Second Sem: Rs. 70,300 Third Sem: Rs. 68,930 Fourth Sem: Rs. 68,390 Fifth Sem: Rs. 68,540 Sixth Sem: Rs. 68,000 Seventh Sem: Rs. 68,170 Eighth Sem: Rs. 67,630 The image also notes that students whose parents' income is below Rs. 1 lakh per annum are exempt from tuition fees. There are mainly scholarship but I am aware with 2 of them only one is provided by ONGC for the OBC students based on merits , and one is by state government.

Life of Master of Technology at NIT Raipur.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees are to be paid semester-wise for Master of Technology at NIT Raipur. 1st semester fees: Rs 80,300. 2nd semester fees: Rs 42,000. 3rs semester fees: Rs 42,000. 4th semester fees: Rs 42,000. The caution fees is Rs 10,000. Registration fees is Rs 1,000. Admission fees of Rs 40,300. Lab fees of Rs 1,000. Tuition fees of Rs 25,000. For SC/ ST category, tuition is relax by 50 percent by the institution. My friend who belongs to ST category, they have to pay Rs 21,000 as tuition fees. We the M.Tech students receive AICTE stipend of Rs 12,400 every month as we have qualified GATE examination.

15070(As I have OBCNCL quota with less than 1lakh annual income) Onetime fees(2750), Tuition fees/sem(62500), others/sem(5890) , annual fees(540) 100% tuition fee wavier for sc, st and obc, gen, ews with less than 1 lakh income. 2/3 of the tuition fee wavier for obc, ews, gen with income between 1lakh to 5 lakh And rest have to give full fees As I am an other state candidate I don't have any scholarship but there are some for home state candidates

The total tution fees is approximately 5lakh and hostel fees is about 55000 per year . we have many scholarships also like full fee reimbursement for economically weak students and students from income 1-5lakh and also for sc/st students to promote education . for students with family income less than 1 ilakh we have 15600 rupees for first year and 9500 for 2,3 and 4th year students .

Good placement but infrastructure is disappointed

Genaral fees is 140000 yearly for college excluding hostel but if you have category or if your parents income is under 5 lakh yearly then you have to pay one third of the salary and also college also provide nsp to students and there are many scholarships provided to college students And if you are sc st or under 1 lakh yearly income then you have to pay 16000 yearly
