I have some friends at Amity and here’s what they told me about the hostel facilities at the campus. 

• Amity University Raipur has separate hostel accommodation for girls and boys. 
• The rooms are in an apartment system and they are very spacious as well as furnished. There is a good internet facility in the hostel. 
• A number of activities such as gyms, mess, indoor games facilities are there separately for girls and boys.
• The students here get up early in the morning at the hostel and play basketball and volleyball. There are a number of training sessions for martial arts, dance, and music every day. 
• In the evening the students get to explore the enormous campus which is very beautiful and it is during this time that the interactive sessions between students and teachers of various departments take place.
• Many cultural activities and events are organized at the hostel campus. All festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Lohri, Republic Day, are celebrated with lots of vigor and enthusiasm.
• The campus is absolutely safe and secured one with a lot of security around the campus and 24X7 surveillance cameras. 

The campus life is fun and you will surely remember your time there.

Amity University, Raipur, conducts various events if not per week, but once every two weeks. 

Academics:

• You will have your classes 5 days per week, but in between these classes, there are various in-depth guest or enrichment lectures conducted for one or more departments. 
• The lecturers, in fact, are not constrained to remaining locally or nationally available but are also arriving from various other countries to provide you an in-detailed perspective of an insightful study lesson. This is the academic scenario of the institution.

Extracurricular Activities:

• There are two mega-events that are held every single year at Amity University Raipur, which is famously termed as Sangathan. It is fundamentally an Inter Amity Institutions Sports Meet, held per year and AmiSpark (which is, Amity University Annual festival). 
• The events being larger than the normal usually sees great participation stats from students belonging to different schools of the university. 
• It is rather a gigantic event put together for students. If you visit the university during these two events, you can see participants showcasing their skills in various kinds of sports. 
• Besides, you can also witness numerous cultural fronts in these two mega-events.

On top of both of these, you can also witness various other forms of competitions, such as the extempore competition, debate competition, poetry competition, competitions that are related to art and craft (one of the examples among it is “best out of waste”), rangoli, and several more which are organized on various suitable occasions throughout every single year.

When it comes to uniforms, let me tell you that as a dress code, you will be required to wear formal wear most of the time. There is also a system where you may have to wear different uniforms every day.

• On Mondays and Wednesdays, you can wear formal shirts, pants, and formal shoes. 
• For business school particularly, this outfit consists of black pants and white shirts.
• On Tuesdays and Thursdays, any formal light-colored shirts will do with dark formal pants. 
• Friday is a casual day where you can dress down a little.

Overall, the college is sort of strict when it comes to a dress code. If you are planning to go to Amity School of Communication, Amity Business School, Amity School of Engineering and Technology, or even Amity Law School, you will have to compulsorily wear formal clothes. In general, decent clothing is required on campus and on college premises.

The main reason behind this is to inculcate a professional atmosphere among students from the beginning. You will develop yourself in a disciplined atmosphere and at the same time learn the ethics of the professional world.

Moreover, a number of companies visit the institute regularly. This could also be a part of the reason why they would like their students to dress well.

• The minimum marks required for UG programs is 60% in 10+2. 
• The candidates must appear for AmityJEE for admission to BTech courses. 
• They must have to appear for English test, personal interview or group discussion conducted by the interview.

• The highest package offered to the students was INR 12 LPA whereas the average package was INR 4 LPA.
