Unbiased review of NIT RAIPUR after 2 years.

Cirriculum:- Okay, so curriculum followed by the college is typical CBCS scheme curriculam . In 1st sem there are some extra subjects other than typical engineering subjects like Yoga, communication skills etc. Other than that curriculum is same as other GOVT Eng. Collleges in 1st year you will be taught all subjects irrecpective of your branch, then from 2nd year onwards you will get into your core branch subjects. Classes Timings:- It really depends on which branch you'r in but most of classes usually take place between 9 to 1 then 1 to 2 luch , then again classes depending on your branch schedule. And yeah! It gets quite HECTIK.

Placements are quite good , depending on branch you will get several placement opporunities in incampus placements. Various companies visits our college for placement or internship opportunities like paytm (visited in 2023) ,D.E. Shaw(only for interns) etc. Average package is 10 lpa across all branches and for cse it's 16 for IT it's 17.5 for 2022-2023.

Fee Structure:- It depens on your category and income bracket . I will break it down for each:- Below 1lakh and ST/SC:- There is full tution fee reimbursement. For 1st year it's Rs. 156000. Btw 1.5 to 5 lakh :- Around 55,000 to 60,000 for 1st year tution fee. Above 5 lakh:- Around 1.5 lakh Hostel and mess combine fee:- 45,000 for 1st year and next 55,000 each year both in 2 intallments . Financial Aid:- Many scholarship opportunities arrives during the college you have to be aware and keep and eye on college offficial webite.

Campus Life:- Campus life is not as such falshy . It's more of like other Eng. colleges . The only time you will appreciate the campus life during the fests. There are manily 4 fests happens in our college ECLECTIKA and other. More about it when you yourself experience it.

Here comes intresting part:- Apparently , college has very limited seats for hostels . In first year its only around 400 out of 11000 students and in 2nd , 3rd and 4th It's lesser ans seats are alloated on based on your rank in 1st year and after than on your CPI. You can get PG and rooms easily nearby college area .

Eligbility :- You should be qualified jee mains and depending on you score (percentile) and cutoff of jee mains you will get this college. Application form:- Consider appearing in jee main and then at jossa councilling you will get this college according to choices you filled in the prefrences. Reservation Benifits:- Like other government Engineering colleges you will get state reservation,female quota and caste reservation also. Exams :- Every Semester there will be 2 exams , 1st the mid-sem Exams of 30 marks and End Sem of 80 marks and rest 20 marks will be evaluated according to attendence and TA(teachers assesment) for every subject
