Remarks

Every thing is comprised at small portion of land. Thus there are not enough to hostels to accommodate all students. This there is scope of building more infrastructure for NIT Raipur. Apart from this the canteen facility and sports ground need some attention as they our ground looks like a desert as there is no grass on it.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is 4 yrs. B.Tech in IT Branch. Every semester has 2 CTs and one end Sem. But, from this year exam pattern has changed (cbse based). Instead of 2 CTs there is only one mid Sem. This you have to give one mid Sem exam and one end Sem exam for each subject.

Placement Experience

Yes, in 3rd, all students are guided to get good internship, be it educational internship or industrial internship. Respective departments of college issues a NOC certificate and character certificate for each student that belong to that department. Yes, I have done 2 months of summer research internship in IIIT Allahabad, U.P. But it was an unpaid internship but was very much helpful for me.

College Events

Eclecticka in the month of February, is central India's largest cultural fest. Aavartan in the month of September, is central India's largest techfest. Apart from these there are some mega events always happening in college such as raaga : musical fest, samarX: sports fest and many more like dj night and grand garba during navratri.

Fees and Financial Aid

I personally don't have any scholarship. But yes several scholarships provided by other states govt. To their meritorious students like MP govt give scholarship to their students studying in nits all over India.

Campus Life

Well maintained and fully operable labs with regular maintainence done by team. Research students can be found sitting in labs even on off days. College has a gym where you can find some really good equipments to work out.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors and juniors relations are very nice. Me as a 3 rs year student offer my help to every junior who seeks it. Talking about other seniors, they are helpful and care for their juniors. There are certain committee like sahyog who targets to help the new comers.

Admission

Crack jee mains with good rank to get admitted. Home state and other state quotas are still applied, hence beneficial for CG students. Basically jee Mains marks are important as that only is used to calculate your rank.

Faculty

All departments faculties are helpful and caring. There is some some strictness in civil branch as per my friends. But talking about my branch, the faculties are extremely helpful and always ready to work for us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course out of my interest in the field. The number of faculty in our college is 8 and no. Of students is 200 .•. faculty: students ratio is 1:25 Some professors in our college are PHD Holders and some have qualified the M.Ed. degree. The teaching methods is very effective and the best part is, they taught in bi-lingual approach (both Hindi and English) which helps in overcoming the language barrier. We have to give semester exams (in every 6 months) even our college takes regular class tests (monthly) and model exams regularly.. The level of exam is moderate.

B.Ed program is for them who wants to be in teaching profession. So to be a teacher I took admission in this program. All subject teachers are there to take all the classes needed. All the qualified teacher who has cleared PG,PhD and M.Ed are trained to be a teacher (students). The 2years of Program have 4 internal exam and 4 term end exam. It is not so hard to pass the exam because the teachers and students work hard to clear all the doubts.

I applied for all the nits an some of state colleges and I got confirmation from bit mesra , coep pune , nit nagpur. But I chosen this college due to chemical engineering branch and the placements stats . Life of Master of Technology at NIT Raipur.

I applied for NIT raipur because thids college comes under national institute of importance by Government of India. This is very good institution in India. I got confirmed admission from IIT Bhubneswar for PhD, but I did not join there. I choose NIT Raipur other than IIT Bhubneswar as because it is old and it is providing me Master of Technology degree, rather than PhD. Yes, I got rejection from IIT Bombay, wehere I applied. I was not able to make it there because I could not score well in my GATE examination, which is required to get admission there. For admission in my college for pursuing the Master of Technology degree, you need to appear for the GATE examination. After you qualify the GATE exam, then on the basis of your rank in the examination you will get seat in IIT/NIT/other college for admission through CCMT counseling. Life At Nit Raipur

If I talk about other colleges then I also give viteee and I'm getting vit easily as per my rank but the tag I want is from nit so I choose this over vit.After getting nit Raipur in jossa or csab you have to report physically on the day they called u and verify your documents.
