Ans. PRSU is a state university founded in 1964 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating university that affiliates about 156 colleges and has 29 University Teaching Departments.

Sc. / Physics./Applied Physics/B.Tec. Or B.E. or equivalent degree approved by UGC/AMIETE/AICTE or Electronics Engg. or Electrical Engg. With 55% Marks. Admissions will be based on an entrance exam conducted by the university.

Ans. Yes, PRSU provides hostel accommodation for both male and female students. There are 2 hostels for boys which is named as Gandhi Hostel and Azad Hostel is the name of 4 girl’s hostel. The hostel can be availed by the students who live outside the city of Raipur. There are in total 6 computer systems with internet facilities, round the clock electricity and Wi-Fi facility in the hostel.

• Library: More than 100 Encyclopaedia are available at PRSU Library. 1,40,801 books, 28,288 donated books, 8,994 World bank publications, and 2,881 e-books are currently housed at this central library located at PRSU Campus. For differently abled students, the library offers Braille printer, Scanning and Talking software
• Health center: This health centra of PRSU Campus caters to the healthcare needs of all the students and Staff. A medical officer and a part time lady medical officer is posted in this center. Medicine are provided free of cost at this center.
• Auditorium: PRSU Campus has a huge auditorium that can accomodate 800 people easlity. The auditorium is air-conditioned and equipped with necessary audiovisual aids. All important events are organised at the Auditorium.
• Sports: PRSU campus offers a stadium for Football, Khoko, and lawn tennis. The university has many other athletic facilities to facilitate sportsmen spirit in a student.
