I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

Overall Review of BIT MESRA RANCHI

Likes

The infrastructure of the college and the lush green campus.
The on-campus placements for students and the research opportunities provided.
The affordable prices of mess and hostel.

Dislikes

The high tution fee for the students and hike in tution fees
The college campus is very far from main town(Ranchi)
The speed of internet provided by college LAN and wi-fi is very slow and with unnecessary restrictions

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for on-campus placements from 7th semester and on-campus internships from 5th semester. A large number of companies visit including atlasian, sprinklr, Goldman Sachs. Previous year 96 offers where made for computer science students and atlasian being highest at 85lpa whereas average is 18lpa. Around 70% students got placed. I'll go for MBA after getting the degree.

Is BIT MESRA a good college?

Likes

Higher studies opportunities provided by the college in field of Technology and Sciences.
Good placement opportunities in campus in big MNCs and other institutions.
Alumini network helps students to find path or clear doubts about higher studies or placements.

Dislikes

The campus is located away from the city which makes it hard to reach to station and airport.
Hostel facilities can be better cleaner hostels can be provided.

Placement Experience:

From the third year itself students are eligible for internship opportunities by the many companies like Microsoft, Nvidia, Intel , Samsung and other big companies comes to the campus with many job opportunities and takes around 10 students each . Highest package offered was 83 lakhs per annum and the average package is 13 lakhs per annum with a placement percentage more than 90% . Personally I am going to opt masters in technology after pursuing bachelor's in technology.

College has a very huge campus and sports ground
College life is better in this college as compared to other
The facilities of the college are well experienced and helpful

Dislikes

The in time for girls in 9 pm while there is no intime for boys
There is no night canteen in the hostel unlike other colleges
The gender ratio of the college is very low

Curriculum is very well designed and good . It helps me in preparing for GATE as well . We get adequate time to enjoy our lives and grow skills in other field as well . Also it helps us to deal with many real life problems

The college is very good but the fees is high .

Likes

The professors are very experienced and help a lot.
The clubs help you a lot in your overall development.

Dislikes

The fees is a bit on the higher side and hence many students take education loan.

The curriculum is very good and updated at regular intervals .The syllabus is exactly as per the industry requirements . There are two exams per semester one midsem and one end sem and 8 semesters for the btech course.

BIT MESRA ‘A great college for engineering students’

Likes

The lush green campus is a beauty.Feels like Heaven during rainy season.
The college has very good course structure.

Dislikes

The hostels are a bit populated with a lot more students than the capacity
Boys and girls being treated differently.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes,the course is quite relevant and trustworthy.Even the faculty members are very good and respectful.The one area i would focus on improvement is the technology is not par with the today's world and labs too are not much good.

Every thing is good but fees is on higher side.

Likes

Campus are neat and clean and have a lush green campus
Faculty are good and supportive and they are highly qualified from foreign universities
Placement are extra ordinary as compare to the other IITs.

Dislikes

Attendance policy of seventy five percent is not good
Fees of the college is on the higher side
According to the fees we pay for the hostel we do not get single rooms

placement of the college is excellent compare to the other nits available in the state. average placement of the college is 1300000 companies like google, microsoft, deshaw , Atlassian, sprinkler, directi and many more product based companies visit our college every year.

Likes

Infrastructure and college life and libraries
Vast campus and good fests and events conducted on regular basis
Very good quality of professors with good education background

Dislikes

High fees and only one shopping complex .
No night library facility and ni night canteen
Foods are sometimes not good and professors are sometimes arrogant

Placement Experience:

Placement is very good as there is training and a Placement cell which is very active and brings most of the big companies. Alumni are also very active which helps get students internship opportunities easily.

Collage is nice placement is good but fee is high

Likes

Collage have greenery campus and calmness all around
Professors are good and clear all doubt and lot of experience
Aluminai network are very strong as founder of white hat junior is from our collage

Dislikes

There is no available for single room in first and second year
Some professors are arrogance and brag about there education
Food is not so good as there is very much oil

A good college with good campus life and placements.

Likes

The lush green campus with parks and lawns feels good.
One can play any sport here woth all the facilities provided here along with gyms.
The clubs are great affition to the campus life where you get to know different people and learn a lot.

Dislikes

The hostels should be single occupancy after the first year.
The mess food is not of the best quality and after time you start disliking it.
Some professors are very arrogant and don't know how to teach properly.

The curriculum is good at par with top tier colleges and it being an independent institution,they set theor own curriculum ehich is updated timely.There are 8 semesters in the course wigh each semester having one midsem and endsem per subject.

Shortcomings of my college

Likes

the campus area and infrastructure is nice
the faculty in my department is very helpful
The people and friends we get to meet here

Dislikes

the faculty of other departments are very unsupportive
There is a lot of pollititcs in play in the various departments
mess food and hostels are very bad and not maintained

Course Curriculum Overview:

i choose this for my intrest in computers. the curriculum only focusses on theoretical concepts and not real world application. they should have project based evaluation instead of written exam based evaluation.
