The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has shared the Class 10, 12, and DigiLocker access codes with schools. On Saturday, CBSE announced that the results would be released "shortly." As per the schedule, the CBSE Board Result 2024 for classes 10th and 12th will be declared after May 20, 2024, at results.cbse.nic.
DigiLocker is a project of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) under the Digital India program. It's all about empowering citizens digitally by giving them access to genuine digital documents in their online document wallet. According to Rule 9A of the Information Technology (Preservation and Retention of Information by Intermediaries Providing Digital Locker facilities) Rules, 2016, announced on February 8, 2017, documents issued through DigiLocker are considered equivalent to original physical documents.
“You are aware that for the past several years, CBSE in technical collaboration with NeGD has been opening Digilocker accounts for Class X and XII students every year in advance to provide digital academic documents through CBSE ‘s digital academic repository, “Parinam Manjusha,” immediately after the declaration of result. In order to further strengthen the security & privacy of students ‘ data, CBSE introduced a 6-digit Access Code-based activation for students ‘ Digilocker accounts. After activation of Digilocker accounts, students can access their Digital Academic Documents under the ‘Issued Documents’ section,” the official notice stated.
How Schools Can Download CBSE Class 10th and 12th Access Codes?
The access codes for CBSE Class 10 and 12 students can be obtained by schools in the following ways:
Step 1: Enter the LOC login information and visit cbse.digitallocker.gov.in. Then, choose 'Login as School' from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Select 'Download Access Code file' located on the left-hand side of the screen. This will redirect you to a new page where your students' access codes are available.
Step 3: After you've downloaded the file, give each student their secure access codes. Don't forget to download the User Manual from the website and provide it to your pupils as a resource.
How Can I Use DigiLocker to Access Documents?
After the announcement of the CBSE Board Exam Results 2024, students can access their class 10 and 12 mark sheets by following the instructions below:
Step 1: Students can access cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse by visiting this URL.
Step 2: Select "Account Confirmation - Get Started"
Step 3: Choose the class, type in the school code, roll number, and shared access code, then click the Next button.
Step 4: Click Submit after entering your date of birth and a 10-digit mobile number.
Step 5: Enter the OTP that was sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 6: Select "Go to DigiLocker account" after activation. Get the certificates by downloading them.
