CBSE Class 12 Economics Deleted Syllabus 2025-26 is provided in the article below. The Economics syllabus of CBSE Class 12 was reduced by 30% for the 2023-24 session. Since then, there has been no major changes in the CBSE Class 12 Economics Syllabus. The updated syllabus is available on the official website cbseacademic.nic.in. CBSE has deleted the Class 12 Economics syllabus from the NCERT textbooks - Introductory Macroeconomics and Indian Economic Development. The deleted portions are from the chapters Government Budget and the Economy, the Balance of Payments, and Current Challenges facing the Indian Economy. There are two parts in CBSE Class 12 Economics Syllabus.
- Part A has Introductory Macroeconomics, which includes Units 1-5.
- Part 2 consists of Indian Economic Development which includes Units 6-8.
- The theory part has a total weightage of 80 marks and the project work carries 20 marks.

- Unit: Government Budget and the Economy: Revenue deficit, fiscal deficit, and primary deficit: Their meaning and implications were deleted.
