Stray Vacancy Round Schedule

The following are the key dates for the stray vacancy round:

  • Online Registration & Document Upload: October 23, 2024 (11:00 AM) to October 25, 2024 (2:00 PM)
  • Fee Submission: October 23, 2024 (11:00 AM) to October 25, 2024 (5:00 PM)
  • Merit List Announcement: October 25, 2024
  • Online Choice Filling: October 25, 2024 (5:00 PM) to October 28, 2024 (2:00 PM)
  • Seat Allotment Result: October 29, 2024
  • Admission Process: October 30 to November 1, 2024, and November 4 to November 5, 2024

Important Instructions

  • Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,000 to participate.
  • Only those candidates who have not been allotted a seat in any previous counseling rounds of UP NEET UG-2024 are eligible.
  • Candidates admitted through All India NEET UG-2024 counseling or those who were admitted, not reported, or resigned after seat allotment in the first, second, or third round of UP NEET UG-2024 are not eligible.

Additionally, candidates who registered in previous rounds and were not allotted a seat do not need to pay the security deposit again, while first-time participants must pay the security deposit according to the course and institution type. BDS candidates from the earlier rounds are eligible to fill choices for MBBS in the stray vacancy round, provided they deposit the required security money for MBBS courses.

Security Deposit for Counseling

  • ₹30,000 for government medical/dental seats.
  • ₹2,00,000 for private medical seats.
  • ₹1,00,000 for private dental seats.
  • Candidates opting for both government and private seats need to deposit ₹2,00,000.

Resignation Process

Candidates admitted through the first/second/third round of UP NEET UG-2024 counseling are informed that if they wish to resign from their allotted seat, they can do so until 5:00 PM on October 23, 2024, two days before the online choice filling for the stray vacancy round begins. Resignations must be submitted in person at the same nodal center where the admission process was completed. Resignations through other means will not be accepted, and conditions from Government Order No. I/700717/2024, dated July 26, 2024, will apply.
