The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule. It covers Round 3 and the Online Stray Vacancy Round. MCC issued the notice on September 14, 2026 at mcc.nic.in. Round 3 registration opens on September 22, 2026. The window closes on September 27, 2026. This round covers All India Quota, Deemed and Central University seats. It also includes ESIC and AFMS medical college seats.

NEET UG 2026 Online Stray Vacancy Round Schedule
The Stray Vacancy Round is the last MCC counselling round for 2026. It fills seats that remain vacant after Round 3. Candidates who missed earlier rounds can still register.

Who Can Apply in Round 3?
Fresh NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates who missed earlier rounds may register. Free-exit candidates from Round 2 are also eligible. Candidates who did not join their Round 2 seat can apply again.
Candidates already admitted through Round 2 cannot participate. Their admission is final for the 2026 academic session.
How to Register for NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Counselling?
The full registration process runs online at the MCC portal. Candidates must finish each step before the deadline. Missing a step may result in rejection.
- Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the UG Medical Counselling link on the homepage.
- Register using your NEET UG 2026 roll number and password.
- Pay the non-refundable fee and refundable security deposit online.
- Fill preferences for colleges and courses in your chosen order.
- Lock your choices before the deadline to confirm them.
- Download the allotment letter after the result is declared.
Key Deadlines Candidates Must Remember
Round 3 registration closes at 3 PM on September 27, 2026. Payment must clear by 6 PM the same day. Choice filling ends at noon on September 28, 2026.
For the Stray Vacancy Round, registration ends at 3 PM on October 14, 2026. Choice filling closes at 10 AM on October 15, 2026. These cut-offs are strict and no extensions are given.
The Stray Vacancy Round is the final chance to secure an All India Quota MBBS or BDS seat. No fresh AIQ admissions will be processed after October 26, 2026.
