- JGEC Infrastructure and course currilculam is very good.
- College campus is very big. Campus located outside the locality area.So enviroment is quite silence.
Dislikes
- Hostels are very old and located 2 km from college area.
- Campus area do not used properly. Most of the area filled by bushes.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Semester fees for non core depertments(ECE an CSE) is 8000 to 9000. IT depertment has high fees 15000 to 16000 per semester.Otherwise, all core branches (EE,ME,CE)have low semester fees like 4000 to 5000. You can easily apply for SVMCM scholarship here, almost every students got this.For minority students have OASIS scholarship. Those students not get any scholarship,only for those students college startes FFS and HFS scholarship. Our JGEC alumini also provided fund for students,Alumini Scholarship. In my opinion, if you want to take admission to this college not required your family should much financial strong. No there is not such kind of job you got on campusfor stipend.

- The construction of hostels should be better
- The lack of faculties, and lack of communication skills are the factors behind the diminishing of our college.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Since it's a government college,the fees are low of cost . If anyone can't afford that fees , he /she can definitely apply for scholarship and scholarship fees are absolutely will worth it to afford the semester fees.

- Placements are good here and we don't have to care a lot about getting placed.
- Infrastructure is big, still it's a bit old fashioned. Thought renovation has now started in our campus
Dislikes
- Most of the faculty is a bit toxic and once you get a supplee, you won't pass that easily.
- Hostel doesn't provide breakfast and everything tiffin, yet we have canteen

This is the third most affordable engineering college in west bengal and majority students get SVMCM scholarship so the fees becomes free and some extra cash still remains in hands. Also we are given students credit card facility but that's not at all recommended for govt colleges.

Total fees of 4 years for CSE and IT students is 64000 and for IT is 12800, while for ME,EE,CE is 48000. For financial support there are lot of scholarship opportunities e.g svmcm,oasis,alumni scholarship and lot of private scholarships.

- Nice Faculty: The Teachers are very nice and experienced here. Explains very well

- Condition of buildings are not very good but the reconstruction work is going on currently.
- The Hostel food is not very healthy nor is the canteen food served here

Being a government college the fees are very minimal, 15 - 17 thousand per year for Non-Core departments and under 26 thousand for Core departments. There are also many scholarship opportunities for the students like the SVMCM Scholarship for the students. The teachers and students make the students aware of different scholarships and how to avail them.

And for ME,EE, CE , it is almost 48000.For scholarship support ther are SVMCM, Alumni scholarship, And lot of private scholarships. In our college almost all students are placed. The highest salary offerd is 60 LPA and the avarage slarly is 7-8 LPA.

The fees are very nominal. In our course we have to pay 62000 for exam and all that. The hostel fees is 32000 per year. There are lots of scholarships like svmcm,mcm ,oasis etc. So i think no one can have that problem in terms of money

Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees for the non-core department i.e. CSE, ECE is 62k for 4 years and 1lakh for the IT department and the core department 40k. Moreover, it is easy to get the SVMCM scholarship if he or she gets the college in the same year as passing the board exam. For the droppers to get the scholarship is quite difficult. Moreover, the Full Fee Waiver scholarship is also given to students who don't get any scholarship and have a poor family background the college authority.
Fees and Financial Aid:
This course in Electronics And Communication Engineering costs nearly 62000 rs. In 4years And I received Swami Vivekananda Scholarship from West Bengal Government. For being a first-year student I am unable to say about Placement and job offers.
