In terms of placement, faculty and infrastructure which one is better for CSE: Kalyani Government Engineering College or Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College?

A friend of mine has told me that CSE in Kalyani Government Engineering College is better than that in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. It can be owed to the location of both places. Kalyani is an IT hub and it is not far from Kolkata. On the other hand, it will take you twelve hours to reach Jalpaiguri from Kolkata by train. It goes without saying that CSE of Kalyani Government Engineering College is better and obviously more preferred to that of Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. The placements in both colleges are pretty much the same. The average package of both colleges is around 3.5 LPA in IT companies. It has to be said that more students get placed from KGEC. KGEC is the more sought after institute because it attracts the better-ranked students. Most of the students whose ranks are under 3000 are from Kolkata, Hooghly, North 24 and South 24 Parganas regions. The faculty and infrastructure of both institutions are also pretty much similar. Fees and Financial Aid:

In that course we will be given the college around 67000 in 4 years but the net value will be approximately 80000.And in hostel the fee is 16000 for 6 months.So the net fees after 4 years around 500000.But there is scholarship which name is SVMCM in this scholarship we get 60000 per anum.And for unfortunate student there present a scholarship which is offered by our colleges respected alumni.In this college there is a moderate possibility to get on campus job but the student have very good on off campus opportunity.

The college academic curriculum, and the professor.

The fee of this college is so less as compared to other b tech college in India. The total fee for the 4 year is only 60k approx. And this is too low. Any students can afford this amount but in this college there is a good opportunity to avail the government scholarship also as this college is state govt so here a scholarship named as SVMCM that can be avail by the students and the scholership amount is 60k per year and the total for 4 year is 2 lakh 40 thousand. And that is 4 time the college fee so this is the very good reason to select this college because we don't have to worried about the fees of the college.

Good College For ROI

The fee is too low as compaired to other B Tech college in India. the total fee of the whole course is about 60 thousand for CSE. and 1.10 lakh of IT, the tution fee for each month is 1 thousand only. and overall at the time of admission you will pay approx 12 thousand that is so less compaired to other colleges.

All about JGEC

Mainly SVMCM is available and if your family income is less than 2 lakh per annum, you will get it.I also have got it.But if you get supply in any exam in semester,you will not get scholership anymore.The amount is 60k per annum.So your tution fee and almost hostel fees will be covered in this. Currently there is no chance of fees hike.The tution and hostel fees will be almost same as previous. If you dont get svmcm you can apply for another national scholerships also,but getting more than one government scholership is not possible. You can get job from tcs,cognizant,wipro , media.net ,amazon etc company with stipend if you have enough skill to achieve it.

No, since its a government college they fees is really minimal and atmost they wont take any fees for any other co-cirricular activities.The fees is around 8191 per semester for CSE students excluding hostel fees.Even the college provide many external scholarship opportunities and even the women have many scholarship opportunities specially.
