There are many different types of clubs in our college in different domain, like coding club, drama club, dancing club, music club, art club, cyber security club, sports club etc. There are fest called jeclet, sristi which provide enjoyment and competition among students.

The overall experience of the college is quite happening we have two fest here. One is the technical fest of a college called as SRISTI which contains different competitions having robotics mechanics and computing skills it also has very high prize pools. The second fest of our college is the social fest called as JECLAT which is considered as the biggest fest of North Bengal. We have different clubs here separate for dance music photography entrepreneurship development computing hacking robotics treking and others. Our annual sports also have many games and prizes for both boys and girls.

In our college , 2 types of fest will occured. 1. SHRISTI :- Our technical fest. In this fest their are different types of tech competition with amazing cash prizes 2. JECLAT :- It is our cultural fest. In the last day, social performer is came in campus . Expect this, Many clubs like Coder, CFI, SAAC etc will conduct their own events. Tour De Jolu a cycle race complete is also occured every year.

My campus life is kinda boring as we had to faced lockdown so we didnt spend much of the time in campus.But the time we had there in our college is full of fun and good memories.There are also verious of club included to persue hobbies and extra-cirricular activities.A wide range of books is avaliable for students. We have cultural and tech fest held in our college every year named as JECLAT and SRISTI.

At Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (JGEC), my experience has been vibrant and fulfilling, enriched by diverse social activities, academic resources, and modern infrastructure.JGEC hosts major events like "JECLAT" in March and "Srishti" in September, renowned as the largest in North Bengal. These festivals showcase cultural performances, technical exhibitions, and academic achievements, celebrating creativity across disciplines.The library offers extensive resources including books, journals, and e-resources, supporting academic research effectively. It serves as a hub for study and research, providing comprehensive access to information for students.Classrooms are equipped with projectors and internet connectivity, enhancing teaching effectiveness and enabling interactive learning experiences that facilitate knowledge transfer.The college fosters student engagement through technical clubs organizing hackathons and workshops, and cultural clubs hosting music and dance events.

The biggest annual fest in North bengal JECLAT. and technical fest is SRISTI. JECLAT is on April to March and sristi in September to November. Our all classrooms provided Internet. And one seminar room and workshop. Many clubs have in our college those are Sports club, Dance Club, Centre for Innovation etc.

Our college has a huge campus. Since it is situated in the north Bengal region, the environment is very pleasant. I love the scenery and the weather. The clubs are nice here. It gives you a good environment for social interaction. Some of the clubs are EDC for entrepreneurship, GDSC , Calliphony etc

JGEC has a very huge campus of 168 acres however since it is a government college the infrastructure of our college is not so satisfying but the relation between seniors and juniors is very good and approximately 15+ clubs are active in this college..

We organised mainly two functions sristi and jeclat. We have one Central library they have all kinds of books. We have no more facilities in class room's just have basic facilities. We have many kinds of sports like cricket, football, vollyball, basketball etc. we have many clubs all run by students and it build leadership skills in students.
