A DECENT REVIEW FOR JGEC

I think course curriculam is quite good. All of the required equipment is available so you don't have to worried for lab experiment. A lot of new thing is explored form the lab . As well as digital experience for learning is also well structured

Cognizant, celebal Technology etc are offering internships. But most of the cases many student go for research internship which are mostly unpaid. And core students are go for industrial visit which is also unpaid.

For general catagory we have to pay 14k to 15k in a year fot semester fees. For odd sem , we pay 8700 around and next 6 k around. For TWF canditate, they have to pay only 2k . And in our college full fund and half fund scholarship is provided by alumunas. For full fand they have to pay only exam fees which is 1200 only. And for these scholarship, they have to give a interview conducted by our teachers then after selection, the half or full amount will be backed to the student.

In our college , 2 types of fest will occured. 1. SHRISTI :- Our technical fest. In this fest their are different types of tech competition with amazing cash prizes 2. JECLAT :- It is our cultural fest. In the last day, social performer is came in campus . Expect this, Many clubs like Coder, CFI, SAAC etc will conduct their own events. Tour De Jolu a cycle race complete is also occured every year.

Hostel facility is good. You will get unlimited water, Unlimited internet connection upto 1Gbps speed, and 24x7 hrs electricity. Food is not so bad . 2 days are quite veg and expects days are non veg. And 2 GID ( Grand Dinner Party) will be help in a year. For veg it is quite tough for survive with this food.

I have only applied for JU . And after decentralized, I got Civil Branch in Ju but I didn't go there because I want to study in non core and also I didn't want to shift from Jalpaiguri. In my college I got EE branch and In Mop up I got ECE. In my time can apply for both 2nd round and Mop Up round.

The Faculty members and Student ratio in our dept is around 13 : 63 . They are helpful. You can research under them as well as they helps any kind of field you required. You can tell any problem, they will give solutions. Lecture will very helpful for semester
