If you are an outsider, the cost of living can be suffocating.

An insight to English Honors in Rajdhani College

One thing about Government college is that you might not have proper benches or working ACs but the faculty is top class. The classes were the favourite thing of my day. The teachers of BA(hons) English were all really helpful and intelligent.
The engagement was effective with students of other courses as well. The college is an active place with multiple working societies where you can build connections and extra-curriculars as well.

Dislikes

The canteen food for not upto the mark. There was a lot of compromise in terms of quality. The menu had 5-6 things only for about a year and only got updated when a new batch took admission.
There were no ACs on the lower ground classrooms. The disabled children could not go to the upper floors since there was no lift either. They had to study in suffocating, humid classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The English Honors course is truly relevant. Literature teaches you about life, gives you the ability to judge(in good terms), be critical and decisive. I could suggest no improvements in the teaching methods. The faculty does their best, if the student js regular they'll get a hold of literature with expertise. The exam is easy to clear, not failing is easy, but scoring high is difficult. It's like they try not to fail the student but above that their marking is truly strict and honest.

Annual and quarterly cultural fests and activities
Different clubs ,associations, societies and crowd

Dislikes

Air conditioning was not working in many rooms
Canteen area was too small and food was not tasty

Placement Experience:

Students from the 5th semester are eligible for campus placement. KPMG, Deloitte, Hero Motorcop, and many more companies gave around 200+ job opportunities. Highest package- 9lakhs. Avg pacakge- 3-4lakhs. Around 60-70% percent of students who applied were selected by the company.

The campus of the college is very huge there is swimming pool also the central library is very big we can have any type of book
The food of the canteen is very delicious and not only one there are many canteen having variety of foods

Dislikes

Due to competition sometimes even high scoring and skilled students are are left behind due to not much companies visited

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester each student are become eligible for an internship and after the 6th final year, they can go for collage placement though many companies have also visited to hire students like Amazon, Google, Flipkart etc. And the highest package was 30 lakhs per annum and the average package is 8 lakhs though almost 80% of students go for the average package only

College is a Success

The atmosphere of classroom and the environment was very healthy each and every students and teachers they all were very kind and generous towards each other
If I talk about the campus it was very big we were having enough place to play our games like Football And Cricket and also the food in the canteen it was very tasty

Dislikes

Sometimes it becomes difficult to park vehicles inside the campus because almost every student and teacher used bring their vehicle and hence due to lack of parking space some have to park their vehicles outside

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester all the student of each course becomes eligible for campus placement there were many companies visited like Amazon , Microsoft, Flipkart etc. for the student so that they can hire them and the average package that each company offered was 600000 annually almost 80% student we're getting placement of each field other student had their own plans to apply outside the campus.

Likes

I liked the sports facilities of my college as you can get any sports equipment by your college I'd card
According to me Rajdhani college has the best ground among any other du colleges.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of my college is not quite well and not all classes are air conditioned .
I don't know much about the college placement as I am not interested in this feature of my college .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason why I chose this course was I was not interested in B.com and B.com (Hons) and that's why this was my last option to opt as I am from a commerce background. The teachers of this course are very good in this college but I cannot say about the students as I have no interaction with other students in my class and year.

Honest words by a regular student

Likes

Ground, hygiene,open gym, big auditorium.
Ncc in college, so many societies ,crowded college.

Dislikes

Building is small, no indoor activities. Cultural fest are not good.

Placement Experience:

From semester 4 students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Paytm, LG, and airtel visits every year in the college and make so many offers. The highest package is around 40 lakhs and the lowest is 5 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is 70%. My plan after getting the degree is to do PG courses.

Likes

The fest oragnized by the campus and the sports ground of campus and presence of AC in each room
Teachers are really nice and supportive and students are also well behaved

Dislikes

There’s nothing that one person shoild dislike but I dislike the canteen

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies like tata wipro, etc offer placements to the students . the placements are given to nearly 25-30% of students with a minimum package of 1.2 LPA and a maximum of 12LPA

Getting Acquainted With Rajdhani college

Placement Experience:

From the final year semester students become eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 7lac per annum and average package is 3 lac per annum. Placement opportunities are limited. 20% of students get placement. I'll pursue a masters degree in the same field.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Almost every day a new company is launched either for the internship or placement. It includes all the years and passes outs too. The average stipend for the internship is 7-8K per month and the average CTC for placement is 4-5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placement Drive is held yearly. Their placement drive is quite useful but not up to the mark. Being a non-technical College, only a few companies show interest. But trust me, you can find a better option of the job by yourself.
