More than a College - An Experience!

Likes

The very first thing I liked about my college was that we got Girl's common room. It is beneficial for the girls who used to travel long hours for the classes.
The greenery of Motilal attracts the most. During my college years I used to do gardening as I was part of NSS, so being the member of society we loved to do all these activities as other than studies it used to connects us with the nature.
The atmosphere, The vibe, The Diverse Culture of Motilal has left a very special mark in my life.

Dislikes

MLNC does not have hostel, which is why students coming from far places have to struggle to find accomodation.
Some classrooms are old fashioned, fans and light don't work properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

DU's BA courses cover topics that directly match the UPSC Syllabus, so it is very helpful for students who are preparing for government exams. I remember during my first year my political science teacher used to teach us Indian polity from Laxmikant.

My journey at you from classrooms to cafe

Likes

Faculty of teachers are very good and cooperative
Infrastructure is very clean and beautiful
Canteen is very hygienic and serves tasty dishes.

Dislikes

Irregular timetables like the gap between the classes
Classes mostly cancelled and informed about us at last moment.
Administration is slower than usual they take much time to process for work.

I choosed this cource due to my future deeds As this cource help me in attaining my knowledge help me in civil service examination Curriculum prepares me very good for real word applications as they put their effort that students must under all the concepts clearly and even they conduct drives to Supreme Court for better understandings.

My college life

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the college and the facilities are available in the campus like the labs , canteen , jubilee block, sv block
I like the teachers the way they are teaching us the teachers of my subject are soo good so I don't need a Tution for the subjects of my college
I like the canteen of the college the food is good and the price is also affordable and the quality of good in my college.

Dislikes

I not much like the crowd of my college honestly . The crowd is not much good but the college is good not in my opinion
Some students have mentioned that the college's placement opportunities are not very good, particularly for certain programs
Some students report a lack of diversity in the student body, which can impact the overall campus experience and social environment.

All about my college

Likes

I am from BA program economy plus English with economy major I think in my college all the teachers are very good in explaining I think we have best teachers also clears are doubt very nicely we ask them extra questions and I think our relationship w
The society of our colleges is also nice I am also in a society wdc women development cell so far in the society we have learnt about feminism and making a place feel comfortable for everyone and many more things I feel so lucky to be the part of soc
Our college library is also nice and canteen is also nice we have basketball court also which is pretty beautiful but I like the library

Dislikes

We have app which tells us our time table when is our next class and stuff like that but in semester change and we have new classes if the shows us to classes in one time some glitches sometime goes on
And we also don't have any auditorium which I don't like because we should have an auditorium
And also our college don't have any hostel you know it they should provide hostels for student like us who came from another state

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think in my course the difficulty level is little bit high because as a non math we have to study lot of stuff around math but while selecting this course it is not required to have math compulsory if you didn't study math in 12th you also can take this course but I think who did not study math in class 12 they should not continue with this course because the course is all about math and statistics of like that and I think Delhi University should be proved this the courses overall good

Likes

The education giving is really good in the college
Library area is really good sitting arrangement and books are really good
The way of teaching by teachers is really good

Dislikes

Canteens area is not good for sitting and there food also
Ground the sport management are not allowing to play games like cricket
Water system is not good ..hot water is coming from taps

Course is really good and very helpful for my future goals I am in political science and economics batch and it's really helpful for my goal UPSC and the books are really knowledgeable form which teacher are teaching us

The best i could've GOT

I liked the political science department of this college because it comes in the top 10 college of DU for the arts department as teachers are really well wersed
Else the greenery and infrastructure is also pretty good but not as algood as most of the colleges in south campus
The crowd here is much diverse which I would prefer anyone that in DU and specially in our college there is very diverse crowd as much as I have seen

Dislikes

Less events take place like cultural events ... Till now not much has taken place but many of my super seniors say that it always takes place in February
No hostel .. students have to take costly PGs for stay which isn't much affordable for many out there
An athletic ground was much needed cuz I am an athlete sooo the ground here is sized just for football which isn't much good

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are made different institutions come to college for taking employments and else I don't know much about placement opportunities but yeah I seee mostly every week one or another company comes to hire some students from the college

Likes

Hygienic campus and canteen provide good quality of food. .
Teachers are good for students , and they have good knowledge .
Students are to good for develop your skills .

Infrastructure may be went to improve, also cleanings .
Placement cell is not very good but little bit negotiable.
Labs not use in proper way , and library system also bad because of books .

The course curriculum are to good , and the study of academics are to good for your government examination and private job like CS etc. Exam timing and exam all are well managed at time to time . Teaching methods are very good because of well experienced professors .

Plenty of inclusive societies and good professors also provides internship opportunities.
Good infrastructure and AC Classrooms and good placement benifits
One can apply for NITI AAYOG INTERNSHIPS and participate in various fests and competition held for better exposure

Dislikes

Attendance system is stringent nowadays and regular classes are to be taken
Though diversity can be seen but also becomes problematic in sense of FOMO
Too much of things to do rather cause distractions sometimes

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent and very good as well for certain courses such as bcom and economics hons but also are decent for other courses based on your cgpa and internships done. Always go for government internships as they provide better experience and weightage.

Likes

Inclusiveness irrespective of where people come from . If they arent similar in terms of their choices ect
There is no hierarchy among students and teachers
The faculty is great. There is a thorough feedback that one receives after the assignments

Dislikes

College Crowd. A bit on the rowdier side. Talking about people other than my course
Infrastructure. Much construction is to be done. A hall needs to be built for programs and cultural activities.
Girls washroom needs proper sanitation facility

Placement Experience:

My course was a non professional one. So, it didnt offer any placement, but the other professional courses of my college offered great opportunities and package worth working for. My course requires an M. A degree and a PH.D to get into the profession of teaching unlesa to want to go ahead with content creation and digital media stuff.
